How about the 349 submarine sightseeing base? Introduction to Jiaojiang Underwater Sightseeing Base
39 Submarine Tourist Base is a special tourist destination full of modern military technology. The submarines here are all former heavy defense equipment and are now on display for tourists to visit. It's still a good experience, letting you understand China's submarine equipment. The following is a detailed introduction for you.
Jiaojiang 349 Undersea Sightseeing Base is the only underwater sightseeing base in Zhejiang. It is located on the north side of Daqiao Park in Jiaojiang District, Taizhou (near Jiaojiang Bridge). It takes about 15 minutes to drive from Taizhou city center.
Jiaojiang Underwater Sightseeing Base was officially opened to the public in September 2013. It is one of the famous red tourist attractions in Jiaojiang and also an educational base for young people.
The 39 submarine sightseeing base is still located in a fishing port, with many fishing boats docked around it. Since the submarine docked here, it has become a port with both fishermen's customs and a military port atmosphere. However, this scenic spot is very small, and I know there are not too many tourists here.
It is reported that this No. 349 submarine is an improved submarine imitating the former Soviet Union's Type 633 submarine in the early 1960s. The submarine is numbered Type 033, which belongs to the R-class submarine and is called Romeo-class abroad.
In that year, Japan built 84 ships, of which 6 were retired. Among them, submarine No. 349 entered service in 1982 and was decommissioned in 2011, with a total range of 37,500 nautical miles. It has made indelible contributions to China’s thousands of miles of maritime territory.
The No. 39 submarine was initially anchored in Jiaozhou Bay, Qingdao. Later, with approval, the "big black shark" sailed for more than 60 hours and arrived at Jiaojiang, Taizhou. Submarine No. 349 is better preserved than other decommissioned submarines, and tourists can still tour the interior of the submarine.
From the introduction, we learned that this 349 submarine is 76.6 meters long, 6.7 meters wide, with an underwater displacement of 1,800 tons and a surface displacement of 1,475 tons. It generally dives between 9 and 270 meters underwater, with a maximum diving depth of 300 meters. Submarine No. 49 has seven cabins, and there is an entrance and exit on the first and seventh cabins.
The hatch into the interior of the submarine is small enough to accommodate one person. A ladder leads to the interior, and access requires climbing up or down the ladder. If you are too fat, it may be difficult to get off. Since you are here, of course you have to go in and visit. There are not many opportunities to explore the inside of the submarine.
When we walked into the submarine, just like what we saw on TV, the space inside was very small. The *** has seven cabins, namely the command cabin, bow torpedo cabin, tail torpedo cabin, front battery cabin, rear battery cabin, propulsion motor cabin and diesel engine cabin. Due to internal air circulation problems, there is still a strong smell of diesel.
It must be said that the structure of the submarine is too complicated. I always thought there were a lot of buttons in the cockpit of an airplane. Walking into the submarine, you will be dazzled by the densely packed dashboard, buttons, and operating levers. You have to admire the people who control and operate submarines. They are great and have made great efforts to protect the motherland and people.
Of course, some people may wonder, how can the submarine ensure oxygen supply when it is deep in the sea? Of course there is also specialized oxygen supply equipment. In addition, the carbon dioxide excreted by the human body will react with sodium peroxide to regenerate oxygen.
