Suzhou-Wuzhen-Hangzhou, or Hangzhou-Wuzhen-Suzhou will do. Let's see where you come from in Wuhan first.

Suzhou arranges two days. One day I went to Suzhou Museum (you don't need tickets, but you have to queue up to buy tickets, including Zhongyi Palace), Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Forest (it's small, but the rockery is still very distinctive). These three places are together. After shopping, there is still time. Just stroll around Pingjiang Historic District and feel the ancient Suzhou. You can go to Shantang Street at night. On the second day, visit Tiger Hill and Mudu (Mudu does not enter the scenic spot for free), and visit Guanqian Street and Shiquan Street when you are free.

Of course, there are many scenic spots in Suzhou, but just look at one or two gardens.

One day in Wuzhen is enough. Visit Dongzha and Tashi, and stay in the ancient town for one night. (In fact, these water towns are all similar. I went to Wuzhen eight years ago, and I don't know how it is now. Xitang was established two years ago, and it feels good. It is also suitable for sitting and drinking tea and chatting in a daze)

There are too many scenic spots in Hangzhou, so don't pursue too much when you come for the first time. It is recommended to rent a bicycle for sightseeing.

The first day around the West Lake: Bai Causeway-Gushan Scenic Area (Broken Bridge, Golden Belt Bridge, Autumn Moon in Pinghu, Gushan, Zhongshan Park and Xiqiao Bridge), South Line Scenic Area around the Lake (Jinyong Park (West Lake World), Qianwang Memorial Hall, West Lake Museum, Liulang Wenying, Bachelor Park, Changqiao Park and Leifeng Tower), and Yang Gongdi Scenic Area (. Once we got up early and walked around the West Lake all day. Most scenic spots are free of charge, while Leifeng Pagoda and Yuemiao are charged. Personally, I like Yang Gongdi Scenic Area best, with few people and beautiful scenery. Go for a walk in Su Causeway at night, and the West Lake will be finished.

You can go to Lingyin Temple and Xixi the next day (I haven't been there, but it's also famous, I don't know if it's worth it).

If you like mountain climbing, it is a good choice to climb from Jiuxi to Longjing, with beautiful scenery and few people.

As for accommodation, I just want to tell you that the youth hostel is a good choice, but now the hotels are basically fully booked. Last year, we went to Wuzhen on National Day, and we slept in the car because there were no vacancies in the hotel. I just booked a hotel in Hangzhou, which is basically twice as much as usual. So accommodation can't tell you what to do.
