Fuzhou Tourism Vocational Secondary School and Fuzhou Arts and Crafts Vocational and Technical School, formerly known as Yu Ying Girls' Junior High School, were the first private girls' schools in East Asia founded by American Methodist Church on 1859 (the ninth year of Qing Xianfeng).
