Strategic Orientation of Guilin International Tourism Destination

The Outline for the Construction and Development of Guilin International Tourism Resort also defines four strategic orientations for the construction of Guilin International Tourism Resort, namely, to become a world-class sightseeing and leisure holiday destination, a national demonstration zone for ecological civilization construction, a pioneering zone for national tourism innovation and development, a regional cultural tourism center city and an important platform for international exchanges.

Its development goals are: from 20 12 to 20 15, comprehensively promote the construction of international tourist resorts and further improve the functions of urban tourism services; Traffic conditions have improved significantly, and the development environment and quality have improved significantly. From 20 16 to 2020, international tourist attractions will be basically completed, becoming a world-class sightseeing and leisure destination and an important platform for international tourism cooperation and cultural exchange.

In terms of preferential policies, the Outline of Guilin International Tourism Resort Construction and Development Plan puts forward flexible and targeted policies. For example, "steadily develop quiz-type sports lottery tickets", "plan low-altitude travel routes near the ground, build general airports and small (private) aircraft training bases, develop small (private) aircraft leasing institutions, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry" and "build imported equipment for tourism service projects and enjoy preferential import tax policies within the existing policy scope".

In addition, Guilin will also study the visa convenience policy for tourism teams from major tourist source countries to enter Guilin Airport; Explore the opening of fifth freedom rights and gradually open low-altitude airspace; Research on the establishment of Guilin national first-class railway port.
