The historical evolution of Youyang Peach Blossom Spring Scenic Area

In 1998, after the direct administration of Chongqing, it vigorously developed the tourism industry. The mysterious Youyang gradually set off a mysterious hijab and became an emerging tourist destination in the Wuling Mountains.

In 1999, Dayou Cave came to light again after being used as an oil depot for decades, and was officially renamed Youyang Taohuayuan Scenic Area. In 2001, 2005 and 2008, Youyang Taohuayuan achieved a triple jump from 1A to 4A tourist attractions.

In 2010, the new Youyang County Party Committee and County Government assessed the situation and were far-sighted, established the strategy of "revitalizing the county through tourism", mobilized the efforts of the entire county and gathered the hearts of everyone to create the Taohuayuan national 5A tourist attraction, and achieved Remarkable results. With the care and support of the National Tourism Administration and the Chongqing Municipal Tourism Bureau, the Youyang Peach Blossom Spring Scenic Spot has undergone comprehensive planning and construction. The scenic area has expanded from the original 200 hectares to 50 square kilometers, and the core scenic area has expanded from 60 acres to 22.8 square kilometers. Visitor centers, ecological parking lots, star-rated tourist toilets, sightseeing eco-friendly vehicles and other tourist service facilities are all available.
