I can't believe that there is such a small fishing village hidden in Yimeng Mountain area!

Yimeng Mountain is a sacred place of red revolution, a place with mountains, water and food. There are many famous scenic spots here, including Yishui Underground Grand Canyon, Yimeng Mountain Revolutionary Base, Tianwang City, fishing village town and so on.

But before, in my imagination, it should be a mountainous place with inconvenient transportation and backward economy. But when I really came here, I felt extremely ashamed of my ignorance!

There are not only complete modern facilities, but also convenient transportation, developed commerce and beautiful scenery, all of which are natural scenery. When I get up in the morning and go out to see these continuous mountains, I feel relaxed and happy. What impressed me the most was the small fishing village called Nanhuang Fishing Village, whose administrative village was called NanHuang Zhuang Village, located 20 kilometers northwest of Longjiaquan Street in Yishui County. The village is surrounded by water on three sides and has beautiful scenery. This is a typical lake village.

Nanhuang Fishing Village is adjacent to Bashan Reservoir, the third largest reservoir in Shandong Province, surrounded by lakes on three sides, and only one road winds into the village. With the strong support of the government, Nanhuang fishing village has developed tourism, and farmhouses and homestays have gradually emerged. The idyllic farmyard, the path paved with bluestone slabs, the farm dishes with Yimeng characteristics and the rippling lake water all make me linger.

I found that the villagers here pay great attention to the quality of life and the sense of ritual in life. The Mid-Autumn Festival is as formal and grand as the New Year in China. There are chickens and fish, and several dishes should be fried. The chicken must be a peasant chicken, fried first, then stewed on a earthen stove for two or three hours, and served with a fungus I have never heard of-Songge (called by locals, I don't know its scientific name), which is really delicious. Fish must also be wild carp, silver carp, grass carp or chubby fish in Bashan Reservoir, with the emphasis on wild fish.

Although relying on tourism has brought a lot of income, don't forget your initiative. A villager still sticks to this yellow land and develops agriculture, but it is more diversified. He not only grows crops, but also grows some melons and fruits, such as apples, grapes, Huang Jintao and big cherries, which are sold all over the country.

I didn't expect such a beautiful place in Shandong. I always feel that there are still many places I haven't been to and many new things I haven't learned. I hope to come here more often in the future and feel the culture and scenery here.
