Tianjia Temple is a cultural tourist attraction.

Tianjia Temple is located in Lianhua Town on the lower reaches of Qingshui River. It was built before the eighth year of Emperor Kaihuang's reign (588) in the Sui Dynasty. Why is this Buddhist temple called "Tianjia Temple"? There is a wonderful legend here.

One year when the wheat in Shaanxi was ripe, a Mai Kezi named Tian from Lianhua Town went to Shaanxi to catch a wheat field. When the wheat was almost finished and he was about to return home, Tian Mai Ke lived at the junction of Qishan and Fengxiang in the evening. In the Purple Mountain Buddhist Temple, Tian Mai Ke had a dream at night. He dreamed that a Bodhisattva said to him: "I want to go to your Lotus Town." At dawn, the Mai Ke found the Bodhisattva Hall as instructed in the dream. , when he saw that the main hall was full of Buddha statues, a moment later, a Bodhisattva statue shook three times. Tian Maike determined that this was the Bodhisattva who had entrusted his dream to go to Lotus Town. So Tian Maike secretly carried the sandalwood Bodhisattva statue on his back and ran home according to the instructions in his dream. The person guarding the Buddhist temple found that someone had stolen the Bodhisattva statue. He guessed that it was Maike from Gansu Province, so he hurriedly called out He called the villagers to catch up with him in the northwest direction with forks and other tools. Just as he was about to catch up, a thunderstorm suddenly fell. Tian Mai was basking in the sun in front of him, but thunderstorms and hail fell behind him. The pursuers all agreed that this was the appearance of the Bodhisattva, so they stopped chasing and talked about walking home. Mai Ke finally returned to Lotus Town carrying the Bodhisattva statue. Strangely enough, not far from Lianhua Town, I couldn't carry the Bodhisattva statue on my back. The Mai Ke narrated the story to the people in the town, and everyone rushed to tell each other and donated money to build the temple. What's even more strange is that when the earth was being broken to build the temple, a Bagua stone pillar about ten feet long and four feet in circumference was found here. Everyone discussed how great it would be if there was another pillar like this with two sides. Some people say that there should definitely be one more. So, everyone set up the incense table and prayed to the Bodhisattva. After three days, it rained heavily. After the heavy rain, the water in the Qingshui River surged. After the water leveled off, half of a stone pillar was exposed on the muddy surface in the river beach at Hujiazui downstream. People were surprised to dig up the stone pillar and lift it to it. Shore, the size is exactly the same as the original one, and it is also a Bagua pillar. From then on, people called the place where the stone pillar was dug out "Shiguachuan".

After the temple was built, everyone gave various explanations for the name of the temple. Later, everyone believed that the Bodhisattva was brought by Tian Maike, and the land where the temple was built was also the land of a person named Tian. From this, everyone one by one This Bodhisattva temple is called "Tianjia Temple", which is the origin of Tianjia Temple. At the same time, there is a similar legend in the Purple Mountain area of ??Shaanxi, saying that the vacant Bodhisattva statue in the Great Buddha Hall was carried away by Mai Ke from Gansu Province

Tianjia Temple was originally built at the foot of Laoying Mountain in the south of Lianhua Town, where it is now The location of Lotus Central Primary School. According to local elders, during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, a temple and a music building were built to the west of the temple, but they did not know when they were destroyed. In the 16th year of the Republic of China (1927), a stone tablet was excavated during the expansion of the Lianhua Town Primary School in the Haradajia Temple. It was about three feet long and two feet wide. In the middle, there were the words "Rebuilt in the eighth year of Emperor Kaihuang of the Sui Dynasty" engraved in the middle. This shows that the Tianjia Temple has a long history. , several buildings were destroyed. At the same time, white pottery and painted pottery with reddish-brown patterns were also unearthed. Several stone Buddha statues were excavated from the Immortal Cave at the base of the mountain and the pottery was handed over to the County Cultural Relics Management Office for preservation. In the first year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1862), the Lotus area was the gathering point for the Hui people's struggle against the Qing Dynasty and the location of the royal city. In order to protect the Buddhist statues and temples, the local people escorted the sandalwood Bodhisattva statue to the Xingguo Temple in Qin'an County for protection. In the tenth year of Tongzhi (1871), the war subsided and the people of Lianhua Town moved the Buddha statue back to Lianhua Town. After the earthquake in 1920, many temples were destroyed, and the sandalwood statues were moved to the "Bodhisattva Building" in Lotus City for worship. During the Republic of China, Lotus City was a square city with a length and width of about 300 meters, with city walls on the east, west and north sides, and Baozi Mountain in the south. There was a city gate and stage on the west side of the city, and a Bodhisattva Tower on the east side.

On the eve of liberation, the Bodhisattva statue was moved to Santai Fort again, and the words "Lotus Peak" and "Santai Fort" were inscribed on the gate. Mr. Guo Lingyi wrote a couplet for the "Santaibao" gate, saying: Lianfeng belongs to the Eight Scenic Spots, and the ancient temple is based on Santai. Mr. Liu Shun wrote again: There is mist in the air. He also wrote a couplet saying: Clouds emerge from the lotus platform in the sky, and the wind carries the bells and bells to the earth. There are "Eight Views" and "Ten Songs" in "Qin An Zhi" written by Hu Zuanzong, the Prime Minister of the Ming Dynasty. "Lotus Tuen Yu" is one of the "Ten Songs". "Qin'an Zhi" records: "Lotus Tunyu: Xinyang, Wating, Shuiluo and Lueyang are all southwest of Lianhua and enter the county river. Looking from a distance, one river and four rivers are as varied as villages. It is said that they are not all in one city! "In the period of the Republic of China, "Lianfeng stacked green" was one of the eight scenic spots in Qin'an. Why is Santai Fort also called Lotus Peak? Mr. Guo Lingyi said:

Looking at the ancient peak at Lotus Temple, you can see the water surrounding the mountains.

Song general Ge Ge passed through this area and named Lotus Peak pictographically.

It can be seen that the name "Lotus Peak" originated from the sight of Song generals in the Song Dynasty, which has a history of more than 800 years.

The current "Lotus Peak" was rebuilt with donations from the Lotus people. It is now a tourist attraction with pavilions, carved beams and painted buildings, towering ancient cypresses and fragrant flowers and plants. The first one has a fort gate, 0. 0 is a two-story double eaves with raised ridges, red columns and green tiles, resembling a pavilion with crisp wind chimes. It contains famous calligraphy and paintings, making it a scenic building for cultural exchanges. The second platform includes the Earth Temple, Yaowang Temple, Guhun Temple, and Wealth Temple. The third platform is the main courtyard, with bell towers and drum towers on both sides of the main door. The two stone pillars at the gate are exactly the Eight Diagrams stone pillars used in Haradajiaji Temple. In the main courtyard there are the Bodhisattva Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Wenchang Palace, Zisun Palace and Guandi Temple. There is a "baoding" about 5 meters high in the courtyard.

Some of these buildings are tall and majestic, with cornices and ridges, and some are small and exquisite, elegant and unique. From the outside, it looks like a dragon playing in the water, or a rhinoceros looking at the moon. When you visit Santaibao and stand on the Lotus Peak of the pavilions, you can overlook it with an eagle. You can see the Qingshui River and Shuiluo River originating from Longshan meeting at the foot of Lianhua Peak, and the Qinglong Mountain and Zengliang Mountain stretching from Longshan. Laoying Mountain faces Lianhua Peak across the river. There are the ruins of Leizu Temple on the top of Qinglong Mountain, and the tomb of Quan Jingxuan, the general of the Northern Zhou Dynasty, on Laoying Mountain. In particular, the Qin (An) Zhuang (Lang) Highway that passes through the town has been transformed into a straight and spacious road during the construction of small towns. The asphalt road is like a blue satin strip, carrying an endless stream of vehicles passing by, making people aware of it. The future is full of hope. It is said that a long time ago, there was an ancient platform (pool) on the top of Qinglong. Water from the east was diverted along the ridge to cultivate lotus flowers in full bloom. It has become famous since then, and the name "lotus" comes from this. Lianhua Peak leads to Lianhua River, which hugs Shimen, brings Shuiluo, and swallows Longshui into Kindai Gorge. To the east of the river is Xianshi Gorge, where there is the ancient city of Xianqin County. To the northwest is the Pulling Gong Plateau, which overlooks a large and majestic mountain, and reaches tranquility. It can be said that thousands of mountains compete with each other, and thousands of valleys compete with the flow; two silver mountains, one river with stars and moon; two mountains facing each other, as if embracing each other; Thousands of villages are surrounded by smoke, surrounded by a sea of ??clouds; lotus flowers are planted in the jade, and the mist is billowing. It's such a beautiful scene, it's really heartwarming.

Every year on the 15th day of the first lunar month, Lotus Peak is filled with smoke and sweet sounds. People from all walks of life came one after another, good men and women, gathered at the peak, held celebrations, prayed for blessings and thought of good deeds, the Buddha's light shone everywhere, and the prosperity was unprecedented. The lotus suppresses the gongs and drums, and the cannons roar. There are bursts of social fires in various shapes. It was really crowded with people, flowers like the sea, and very lively.

In May 2009, the People's Government of Qin'an County announced that Lotus Peak was a county-level cultural relic protection unit.
