Where is Roadside Village located?

The roadside village is located in the hilly area in the northern part of Duxun Town. It is adjacent to Guoyang Village to the east and north, Houyin Village to the west and Wenqing Village to the south. The Duxun River originating from Nanlu of Liangshan flows through this village and flows into the Dongshan Bay at Duxun Port near the Duxun Saltworks.

The history of administrative regions and the origin of surnames

The roadside newspaper belonged to Duxun Town during the Republic of China. In the early days of New China, it belonged to Lubu Township in District 7 (to Duxun). In September 1958, it belonged to Lubu Brigade of Duxun Commune. It is now Lubu Village in Duxun Town. The village has 3,331 acres of arable land, including 1,930 acres of paddy fields, 1,401 acres of farmland, and mountainous land. The main agricultural products are rice, vegetables and fruits. Annual output: 1,500 tons, 3,000 tons of vegetables, 180 tons of fruits. Most natural villages have good water conservancy and irrigation conditions. The Duxun stream originating from the southern foot of Liangshan passes through Tuloushe and Shuigangshe and flows southward into Duxun Port.

There are 10 stone ridges to block water and irrigate the fields. Traffic-accessible village roads connect various natural villages.
