How long does it take to apply for a land use certificate?
If the materials are complete and the cadastral survey and ownership review meet the standard conditions for issuance of the certificate: the initial registration will be completed within 60 days from the date of acceptance of the application. ; The registration of changes in land ownership and use rights shall be completed within 30 days from the date of acceptance of the application; the registration of other land rights and changes shall be completed within 15 days from the date of acceptance of the application. Article 359 of the "People's Republic of China and Civil Code"
When the period of authority to use land for residential construction expires, it will be automatically renewed. The renewal of non-residential construction land use rights after expiration shall be handled in accordance with legal provisions. If there is an agreement on the ownership of the houses and other real estate on the land, it shall be in accordance with the agreement;
If there is no agreement or the agreement is unclear, the ownership shall be in accordance with the provisions of laws and administrative regulations.
