I organized two self-driving tours of the most beautiful border roads in Dandong and Changbai Mountain last summer.

Weifang-Panjin-Dandong-Changbai Mountain two days-Tonghua-Jinzhou-Shandong Weifang, the whole journey is 3800 kilometers. This route is a feeling that you can't experience by airplane bus. Only self-driving can give you a feeling.

From Dandong to Changbai, with North Korea on the opposite side, you can walk along the Yalu River without taking the expressway, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Dandong and Changbai Mountain are a different experience and feeling. The Northeast is rich in resources and has many delicious foods. The transportation is developed and the road conditions are good, making it very suitable for self-driving travel. The pristine natural resources are the real self-driving destination.

Changbai Mountain started to implement a package policy last year. We chose to visit the west slope and the north slope in two days. What needs to be complained about is the traffic control. When we drive ourselves, we need to transfer to the scenic spot car at the designated parking lot to the scenic spot, queue up to enter the scenic spot, and then queue up for the scenic spot traffic car. It feels like there is a non-stop queue... I was lucky, and the riders of the two self-driving Changbai Mountain activities saw Tianchi. The road around the mountain from the west slope to the north slope of Changbai Mountain is full of small flowers and the blue sky and white clouds are extremely beautiful.

If you are traveling by car, you can choose to go from Dunhua to Changbai Mountain. This route is relatively close and saves time on the road. You can also go from Antu to Changbai Mountain. This route allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery, which is very beautiful!

Changbai Mountain is divided into three scenic areas, the North Slope Scenic Area, the West Slope Scenic Area and the South Slope Scenic Area, and they can all reach Tianchi. The angles of Tianchi seen from the three scenic spots are different.

North Slope Scenic Area: Changbai Waterfall, Heifengkou, Chengruo River, Green Pool, Xiaotianchi, Julongquan, Valley Bottom Forest

West Slope Scenic Area: Changbai Mountain Grand Canyon, Yuanwei Garden, Alpine Garden, Ladder River, China-North Korea Boundary Monument.
