When was the summer resort built!

The summer resort was founded in 1703, and it took 89 years to complete after Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong in Qing Dynasty.

The summer resort takes the quaint and elegant mountain village as its style, takes the true colors of natural landscapes and absorbs the scenery in the north of the Yangtze River, making it the largest existing ancient palace in China.

The summer resort is divided into four parts: palace area, lake area, plain area and mountain area. The whole resort is watery in the southeast and mountainous in the northwest, which is the epitome of China's natural landforms, a brilliant milestone in the history of China gardens, a masterpiece of China's classical garden art and the highest model of China's classical gardens.

The development of history

From the forty-second year of Kangxi (1703) to the fifty-second year of Kangxi (17 13), the lake area was opened, islands and dikes were built, and then palaces, pavilions and palace walls were built, which made the summer resort take shape. Emperor Kangxi chose the beautiful scenery in the garden and wrote "Thirty-six Scenes" in the name of four words.

From the sixth year of Qianlong (174 1 year) to the nineteenth year of Qianlong (1754), Emperor Qianlong expanded the summer resort on a large scale, adding palaces and many beautiful large-scale garden buildings. Qianlong imitated his grandfather Kangxi and wrote "36 Scenes" in the name of three characters, which are collectively called 72 Scenes of the Summer Resort.

1976 from 2006 to 2006, the State Council successively approved and implemented three ten-year renovation plans for Bawai Temple in the Summer Resort, and defined the protection principle of "rescue renovation". The state and local governments have invested hundreds of millions of yuan in the maintenance of ancient buildings and garden restoration, and invested a lot of money in the comprehensive improvement of the surrounding environment of cultural relics protection areas.

From August 20 10, the cultural heritage protection project of chengde mountain resort and its surrounding temples was fully launched. The project is planned to be implemented in three to five years, and the central government has invested 600 million yuan in special funds for the protection and renovation of cultural relics and the management of the mountain villa water system, and has identified cultural heritage protection projects such as the protection of ancient buildings and the scientific and technological protection of cultural relics and three comprehensive water environment management projects in the mountain villa.
