Is the Linla Expressway open?

Linla Highway was fully opened to traffic on April 26, 2019.

The Dobut Bridge located in Linzhi City, Tibet is known as the "most beautiful bridge" on the Lalin high-grade highway. The Tibet Lalin High-grade Highway starts from Chengguan District of Lhasa City and ends in Bayi District of Nyingchi City, with a total length of 409.2 kilometers. The Lalin high-grade highway runs parallel to the Lalin section of the national highway G318, and the one-way drive time between Lhasa and Nyingchi has been shortened from 8 hours to 5 hours.

The Mirashan Tunnel of the high-grade highway from Lhasa to Nyingchi in Tibet has been officially opened to traffic in both directions, marking the full opening of the high-grade highway from Lhasa to Nyingchi.

Now that the Linzhi Expressway has been completed and opened to traffic, the journey has been shortened by half.
