Value meaning
The pit of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses was discovered in 1974, which is known as "the eighth wonder of the world" and "one of the great discoveries in the archaeological history of the 20th century". The three terracotta warriors and horses pits are arranged in a zigzag pattern, with a total area of over 20,000 square meters. More than 7,000 terracotta warriors and horses the size of real people are placed in the pit, which has high artistic value.
The creation of terracotta warriors and horses is based on real life, with delicate and lively artistic techniques, different costumes and expressions. Has a distinct personality and strong characteristics of the times. The bronze weapons unearthed from the Terracotta Warriors pit include swords, beryllium, spears, swords, halberds, rafts, crossbows and a large number of arrows.
Most weapons are still sharp after more than two thousand years, indicating that high metallurgical technology was already available at that time. 1980, two large painted bronze chariots and horses were unearthed on the west side of Qin Shihuang's mausoleum. There are four horses in front of each car, and each car has a statue of a royal official. Bronze chariots and horses are lifelike in shape and ornate in decoration. They use a lot of gold and silver as decorations and components, which are very beautifully made. They are called "crowns of bronze".
