It takes about 2 hours to visit the Golden Cave. There are many details in the cave. It is best to have a tour guide to explain it together.

Introduction to Zhidong

Zhidong relative height difference 150m, widest span 175m. Generally, the height and width of caves are between 60- 100 meters, with a total area of over 700,000 square meters. The average height of the deposit in the cave is about 40 meters, and the highest deposit is 70 meters, which is more than 7 meters higher than the highest stalagmite in Martin Mountain, Cuba, the largest cave in the world.

First stop: Yingbin Palace

This palace is the only one in Zhijin Cave that enjoys natural lighting. You can see many mosses and herbs. Interestingly, all plants grow towards the sun.

Tip:

1. Because of the sunshine, there are three layers of rocks on the cave wall, which are covered with green plants, and many stalactites are hung on the top of the cave, just like fish.

2. Moss and other plants grow on the sunny surface of stalactites. Plants absorb dust and moisture in the air, and gradually become thicker with the passage of time, forming an outward bending state.

3. In a small hall next to the side wall, there is a stalactite more than ten meters high, which looks like a mushroom cloud rising in Ran Ran after the atomic bomb explosion, and is named "Xiangyun Mushroom".

Second stop: Ya Xue Song Qing

This is the symbol of Tasongtang. Two "pressed cedars" look like Christmas trees. There is a Santa Claus sticking his head out on the wall next to it, which is particularly vivid.

Tip:

Stalagmites formed by dripping water and splashing water are shaped like pine trees and have unique shapes, which are extremely rare. It was formed 75 thousand years ago.

Third stop: Nantianmen

The scenery of Zhijin Cave began to change from the worse gate. Before it gets worse, this is just a foreshadowing. Then, they passed through the Lingxiao Hall in the transition of the worse gate 18, and turned from 28 to 448. The immortals respectfully gathered together and quietly waited for the order of the Jade Emperor.

Tip:

1. The four most exquisite halls: Crystal Palace, Lingxiao Hall, Guanghan Palace and 100,000 Mountains, gradually formed the climax of the Golden Cave.

2. This falling rock with a height of 14m is said to be the helmet of Xiang Yu, the overlord of ancient Western Chu. In addition to the helmet, there are boots left by the overlord of Chu and his weapon overlord whip in the golden hole.

I walked 6.6 kilometers, as if for hundreds of thousands of years. Once again, I feel the smallness of people in front of nature and time.
