Sichuan Yearbook was founded on 1986.

Sichuan Yearbook (2020) has more than 2 million words, including special topics, special notes, annual concerns, general situation of prosperity and apology, politics, comprehensive management, industrial development, small and medium-sized enterprises and non-public economy, market construction, open cooperation, urban and rural development, education and science, cultural communication, health and sports, social livelihood, ecological environment, public safety and poverty alleviation.

Compared with Sichuan Statistical Yearbook (version 20 15), energy consumption per unit area of GDP and energy consumption per unit area of industrial added value of cities (states) are increased in Chapter 6 "Energy".
