4. How to play along the way to Balangshan?

The bus can park in the parking lot. There are many small parking spots along the way.

Self-driving Balang Mountain, Siguniang Mountain is not far below it. You should check it out. I'm not going hiking or camping, but I'm going to Shuangqiaogou, but I'm not going. Don't go to Changpinggu and Haizigou.

No matter from Chengdu or Xiaojin County, the road to Balangshan is quite good. I took these photos some time ago. Basically, the road conditions are the same, except for the Langshanguan section of the dam. Because the tunnel was not maintained after opening, the road conditions were almost the same.

Although the road conditions are good at ordinary times, you should also pay attention. First, there are many tunnels on the road and they are all very long (the longest tunnel is about 8 kilometers), and the speed limit is also serious (the speed limit of all tunnels along the way is 40); Second, Balangshan may encounter heavy fog when passing by at night. I passed by at night and it was foggy, so I couldn't see the way. Third, there may be falling rocks in some sections, so pay attention to observation.

The shuttle bus from Chengdu to Siguniang Mountain can take a bus at Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station. Ticket price 68 yuan/person. If you carpool (regular taxi) 150 people, it will take about 4 hours to travel 228 kilometers from Chengdu to Siguniang Mountain. From Chengdu to Siguniang Mountain, the famous Dujiangyan, Yingxiu, Wolong Giant Panda Reserve and Balang Mountain with an altitude of over 4,000 will not be boring. But it will be very cold when passing through Balang Mountain, because of the high altitude. It's best to prepare winter clothes in the car, because the Changpinggu of Siguniang Mountain is above 3200, so don't catch a cold.

There are three ditches in Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area: Changpinggu, Shuangqiao and Haizigou. Shuangqiaogou is located in Siguniang Mountain Town, Changping Valley, on the road from Siguniang Mountain Town to Xiaojin, and Haizigou is located halfway up Balang Mountain to Siguniang Mountain. It is the best place to enjoy the panoramic view of Siguniang Mountain.

Tickets for Siguniang Mountain Changpinggu are 70 yuan, from the ticket office to the Lama Temple, with 20 scenic spots, leading to sightseeing bus. Because of the high altitude, most people choose to ride horses. The cheapest ticket is 50 yuan, including round trip, but usually the groom wins. T please send you back to your hometown, because they have to take over the second business and be prepared. Now Changpinggu is repairing the plank road. I bought a round-trip ticket to 150 yuan, because the road is bad and the horse manure stinks. However, if you are in good health and have plenty of time, you can still stroll slowly after the plank road is repaired, and the scenery inside is also quite good.
