On the way into Tibet, the height was reversed. How to solve it?
The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the highest plateau in China, with an altitude of about 3,000 to 5,000 meters. So the climate is thin and the temperature is low. Very suitable for summer travel.
If you want to travel to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, how should you face altitude sickness?
First, go to the hospital for a comprehensive physical examination before departure to see if you can adapt to altitude sickness. Take the doctor's advice and we'll start over. This is also responsible for our own health.
Second, if there is altitude sickness when going to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, how to remedy it? Our best way is to drink more water and do less exercise. You can buy some medicine about altitude sickness in the local area, rub some potions, rest more, and buy some oxygen to suck. If there is severe hypoxia or physical discomfort, you can go to the hospital for treatment until you recover.
Although the scenery of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is charming, there are vast grasslands and white cattle and sheep. It adds a beautiful scenery to the plateau, and it is also the place that travelers most yearn to travel.
Third, we are now on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, where the climate is very cool. Whether we go to travel or stay, we must make a decision according to our physical condition. If we can adapt to altitude sickness, we will travel!
Lhasa is 3658 meters above sea level. For people who live in plain areas all the year round, it is very normal for them to have altitude sickness when they are new here, so there is no need to panic. But because everyone's oxygen demand and ability to adapt to the environment are different, the degree of reaction is also very different.
How to deal with altitude sickness;
1. If there are only mild symptoms of altitude sickness such as headache, dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue, insomnia, nausea and loss of appetite, you can reduce strenuous outdoor activities and adapt to the altitude environment by walking slowly. Excessive rest and inactivity are not conducive to the speed of adapting to the plateau environment.
2. Drink more water, excrete more, eat more fruits and vegetables, accelerate metabolism in the body, and help to alleviate altitude sickness.
3. If the headache is frequent and lasts for a long time, and it seriously affects sleep, a small amount of analgesics can be used.
4. To help adapt to the plateau environment, you can take drugs such as Gao Yuanan, inosine oral liquid and American ginseng buccal tablets. Plateau Anhe Inosine Oral Liquid can make human cells continue to metabolize smoothly under hypoxia, participate in human energy metabolism and protein synthesis, and help to alleviate altitude sickness. American ginseng buccal tablets can refresh, resist fatigue and increase immunity.
5. Buttered tea, many Tibetan friends will suggest drinking more butter tea. Buttered tea can refresh the mind, and drinking more is just like drinking more water, which accelerates metabolism in the body.
6. If you feel chest tightness and fatigue, it is not recommended to take oxygen immediately, which will make people dependent on oxygen and delay their adaptation to the plateau environment. However, if the hypoxia is serious, oxygen can be inhaled intermittently, and the oxygen flow rate is 1-2 liters per minute.
7. If altitude sickness does not ease for many days, you can choose to adapt to low altitude areas, such as Linzhi. Linzhi has an average elevation of about 3,000 meters, and the lowest elevation is only 900 meters. Its lush vegetation and humid climate will be of great help to gradually adapt to the plateau environment.
8. If hyperreflexia is extremely serious, accompanied by symptoms of cold, fever and cough, first of all, you need to seek medical advice in time to avoid pulmonary edema or brain edema. And move to the plain area in time to recover slowly.
Please pay special attention to:
1. When you first arrive at the plateau, keep warm, don't catch a cold, don't smoke or drink, keep an optimistic mood and treat altitude sickness correctly. In general, you can adapt to it in 1~3 days.
2. If you have symptoms of cold and cough, you should seek medical advice promptly.
3. Patients with obvious lesions in heart, lung, brain, liver and kidney, as well as patients with severe anemia or hypertension, remember to blindly enter the plateau.
4. Before you get used to the plateau, don't rush into the area about 5000 meters above sea level and the sparsely populated and inaccessible places such as Ali and northern Tibet.
How to reduce altitude sickness;
1. When entering the plateau for the first time, it is recommended to take a train or a car to gradually adapt to different altitudes.
2. Take drugs such as rhodiola or Gao Yuanan in advance. Although rhodiola has no obvious curative effect, it can only be used as a placebo. It is suggested that Rhodiola sachalinensis should be taken one week or half a month in advance, and Alpine Anke should be taken 1-3 days in advance. After arriving in Lhasa, you need to continue taking it to adapt to the altitude.
It's the best time to travel to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. What should I do if there is altitude sickness? I would like to ask all travelers to express their views, so that everyone can understand altitude sickness and make a response. I also talk about my feelings and suggestions about altitude sickness.
The so-called altitude sickness is because with the elevation, the air becomes thinner and thinner, and the oxygen content in the air becomes less and less. People at low altitudes in the eastern region will have physical reactions because they don't adapt. The main manifestations are: headache, general malaise, fatigue, panting after a few steps, unable to sleep, blue lips and so on. In severe cases, it is even life-threatening.
I remember when I first went to the plateau, I started altitude sickness at an altitude of 3 kilometers. At an altitude of 4 kilometers, I was tired after a few steps and had to stop to catch my breath. My temple hurts at night and I feel uncomfortable all over. My Qinghai traveling companion told me not to lie flat and to hold my head up. The result is really much better. Before I left the next morning, he made me drink 100mL glucose oral liquid, and the altitude sickness was relieved a lot. After adapting to the plateau area for a period of time, some people's altitude sickness will gradually reduce.
So how should we deal with the problems in high school? First of all, pay attention to rest in the plateau and keep in good health; Don't take a bath when you go to the plateau for the first time, or you will catch a cold at the plateau, which is a very troublesome thing; Don't drink on the plateau. Many donkey friends have mentioned this. Many people have to turn back because of gluttony and strong altitude sickness, so that the trip is abandoned halfway. Why is it easy to have problems when drinking on the plateau? I don't know why, just to remind everyone. Once altitude sickness occurs, you should try to reduce exercise, take oxygen and recover your strength. If altitude sickness is serious, evacuate to low altitude area in time and seek medical treatment if necessary.
Make more preparations before going to the plateau to understand the causes of altitude sickness. In fact, altitude sickness is not insurmountable or terrible. As long as you take rhodiola a few days in advance before going to the plateau, you can also consult your doctor to prepare. Remind everyone that high reflectivity basically has nothing to do with age, and many strong people will also have high reflectivity.
The beauty of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is unique, mysterious, clean, vast and desirable. If you are ready, come and feel this magical plateau.
I wish my friends a pleasant journey! Have a safe trip!
Speaking of altitude sickness, my little sister really met it last time she went to Lhasa. Before leaving, in order to avoid altitude sickness, my wife looked up a lot of strategies on the Internet and started drinking rhodiola a week in advance. Unfortunately, my wife didn't want to give up the trip because she had a fever before entering Tibet, but she still set foot on the train to Tibet. When the train passed the Tanggula Pass and was about to arrive in Tibet, my wife had altitude sickness. At first, it was just nausea and vomiting and persistent stomach upset. This little lady thinks this is a bad thing. As a result, she slept until midnight and began to feel chest tightness and shortness of breath. Until the next day, the train began to provide oxygen, and the situation did not improve. At that time, the little lady thought she was going to die
After the train arrived in Lhasa, the little lady bought a first-aid medicine for treating altitude sickness invented by the local army at the front desk of the hotel: Gaoyuankang. With a try attitude, the little lady ate a piece. After half an hour, all kinds of reactions were eliminated. After that, she has been taking it for a day or two, and there is no altitude sickness.
So if you encounter altitude sickness, don't panic. As long as there is no health, diseases such as high blood pressure and heart disease are generally not too dangerous. If you are on the train, you must pay attention to rest and keep warm, let yourself lie flat, relax, close your eyes, slow down your breathing and try not to be nervous. If you have altitude sickness in Lhasa, you can transfer to a local hospital as soon as possible, or buy local drugs specifically for altitude sickness, because altitude sickness is a common disease of local people, and many people who travel to Lhasa will encounter such a situation, and doctors are familiar with it. So I believe that the local doctor can make you recover quickly.
In addition, people who have just arrived in Lhasa should not rush to take a bath, reduce strenuous activities, and eat as light and digestible as possible, so that their bodies can adapt to the temperature and pressure of the plateau in the first day or two, so that the final trip will not be so difficult. Special reminder to friends who let him travel must pay attention to the large temperature difference in Lhasa in the morning and evening. Many scenic spots during the trip are at high altitude, so be sure to bring more warm clothes and don't catch a cold. Finally, I wish you all a pleasant journey.
The road to Tibet mentioned by this friend means nothing more than the Sichuan-Tibet line or the Qinghai-Tibet line, the Yunnan-Tibet line and the New Tibet line. Among these main routes, I drove through three of them, namely Sichuan-Tibet line, Qinghai-Tibet line and New Tibet line. No matter which route you take, there will be different degrees of altitude sickness, which is inevitable and is also the physiological reaction of normal people. It's just that some people are lighter and some people are heavier. I want to answer this question from three aspects: before, during and after my visit to Tibet for many years.
The first high reaction to sichuan-tibet railway was in xinduqiao area, crossing Zheduo Mountain and entering Kangba Grassland. Among them, Zheduo Mountain Pass is more than 4,200 meters above sea level, and xinduqiao is more than 3,500 meters above sea level. That year, my teammates 13 and I set out from Ya 'an and arrived in xinduqiao in the evening. No one feels uncomfortable. However, after 12, most people say that they have a headache and can't sleep, which is the symptom of altitude sickness. The next day, I went to Litang county, which is more than 4200 meters above sea level and is called the world's high city. Except for a 25-year-old girl, all the teammates shouted that they had a headache and nausea, and they couldn't eat or sleep. But by the next morning, these symptoms basically disappeared.
The first high rebellion on the Qinghai-Tibet line was in Sun Moon Mountain in Xining. It's more than 3500 meters above sea level here. Except for a few who feel a little confused, most teammates have no obvious symptoms. After crossing Kunlun Mountain, especially in Hoh Xil, Wudaoliang and Tuotuo, the symptoms of teammates' hyperreflexia are more obvious. Slight, purple lips and swollen brain. In severe cases, it is difficult to breathe and drowsy, almost without exception. Arriving at Naqu City at an altitude of more than 4,600 meters that night, some teammates had a fever. But after taking cold medicine and sleeping with the plateau all night, the symptoms of hyperreflexia basically disappeared at 8: 00 or 9: 00 the next morning.
The first high-level rebellion on the New Tibet Line was in Daban, Di Ku. This area is more than 3 100 meters above sea level, which is not high, but compared with the Tarim basin at low altitude, it is called the gate of hell. It takes only a few hours to go from low altitude to high altitude, and no one can avoid being high. Arriving at Sanli military camp that night, after a night's rest, the symptoms of hyperreflexia were relieved. When I arrived at Dashiquan River the next night, the symptoms of hyperreflexia basically disappeared.
Therefore, it is inevitable to encounter high rebellion on the way to Tibet, but it is not terrible. From the practical experience, it is often those young people or people who have been in good health who are more serious, while those who are older or younger are not serious. Those with severe reaction often adapt in a short time, while those with less serious reaction often last longer.
In order to cope with the high rebellion in Tibet and get through it as soon as possible, we can make necessary ideological and material preparations from three aspects: before, during and after entering Tibet.
First, before entering Tibet. Friends who are afraid of high reaction or have high blood pressure or heart disease should take rhodiola as soon as possible. This is a kind of Chinese herbal medicine with roots, which can be bought in general Chinese medicine shops. Soaking water began about 10 days before entering Tibet. At the same time, we should prepare enough Gaoyuan 'an capsules. If you feel that you don't take it at the right time, it will have an immediate effect. At the same time, it is most important to prepare enough oxygen cylinders or oxygen bags. It is best to use a pillow oxygen bag. It is convenient, inexpensive and practical to fill all towns in Tibet with oxygen. Because the root cause of hyperreflexia is hypoxia, oxygen inhalation is really uncomfortable, and the symptoms will be alleviated immediately.
Second, enter Tibet. Besides other things to pay attention to, we should pay special attention to keep warm. No matter which route you take, there is a process from low altitude to high altitude, and from warmer environment to cold area within a few hours, and the temperature difference will be at least 20 degrees. In August of that year, my friends and I took the Qinghai-Tibet line. When we left Golmud, the temperature was around 25 degrees, and everyone was wearing short coats. A few hours later, after crossing Kunlun Mountain and entering Hoh Xil, the temperature suddenly dropped to about 0 degrees. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with a car tire at this time, and I was in a hurry to sort out the tire. I put on winter clothes when I feel cold. As a result, two people had a fever when they arrived in Naqu that night. Fortunately, they took the medicine and went to sleep. By the next morning, the fever was gone, and the symptoms of hyperreflexia disappeared, and it was almost good. Therefore, it is very important to keep warm on the way to Tibet.
Third, after entering Tibet. Although the symptoms of hyperreflexia will basically disappear in a day or two, symptoms such as headache, brain swelling, light walking and poor sleep still exist. Especially to the west of Lhasa, most of them are about 4,500 meters above sea level, and some are even above 5,000 meters. From Yecheng to Shiquanhe 1060 km on the new Tibet line, the altitude is more than 4,500 meters, more than 930 kilometers, and more than 5,000 meters 130 km. So try to keep warm, take fewer baths, don't drink, don't run, don't do strenuous activities, and prepare enough oxygen. In this way, we will be foolproof and successfully complete our trip to Tibet.
Many friends said they were afraid before entering Tibet, crazy after entering Tibet and wanted to leave after leaving Tibet. I won't know until I go in person. Finally, I wish my friends a smooth trip to Tibet!
What should I do if altitude sickness occurs in Lhasa?
The process of emergency treatment or self-first aid for high reaction is as follows:
First, stop all activities! Sit or lie on the spot;
Second, take oxygen! People who know that they may be in high spirits should bring canned oxygen to Tibet, which is sold in Lhasa pharmacies;
Third, eat glucose! Lhasa pharmacies sell them, specially prepared for high anti-corruption;
Fourth, take high! This is a famous brand medicine made in Tibet. I feel that relieving altitude sickness in an emergency is faster than rhodiola.
5. After the symptoms are relieved, go to the hospital to see a doctor immediately;
6. Do you want to leave Lhasa and go to a place with low altitude according to the doctor's instructions?
Note: Never take a bath when you first arrive in Lhasa!
Altitude sickness in Lhasa is actually not a big problem. After all, there are hospitals in the city. If you really can't, you can leave Lhasa immediately, and the traffic is more convenient.
If you go to a sparsely populated place in Tibet, such as Everest Base Camp, you should be more careful!
Because someone is hanging there.
I rebelled very high in Everest base camp, and I was lucky enough to come back alive today to tell you these useful things.
The inevitable problem of rebellion in Tibet is a big problem that all tourists who go to Tibet must face, because there are indeed individuals who have left their lives there forever! There are also very few people who were sent to the hospital and flew back to the mainland the next day!
According to the experience of my wife and I traveling to Tibet last June, the so-called high reaction is that the air in Tibet is seriously short of oxygen. For example, the oxygen content in Lhasa is only 57% of that in the mainland, and the local Tibetans have adapted to it, but ordinary mainlanders who just went there can't stand it, especially those with large lung capacity, who will have dizziness, headache, coma, difficulty breathing, purple face and black lips, which will seriously endanger their lives!
In this case, the only effective solution is to do nothing, lie in bed immediately and use an oxygen machine to deliver oxygen!
My wife and I went to Tibet last year. I was 66 and my wife was 63. In the afternoon, fly from Shanghai to Lhasa via Kunming (at an altitude of 3650 meters). As soon as I got off the plane to get my luggage, I began to have a high conditioned reflex. My heart is full of ups and downs, my chest is tight, and it is a little difficult to breathe. After staying in national hotel, Tibet, my hyperreflexia became more serious after dinner. I have a large lung capacity, and no matter how I breathe, I feel anoxic, chest tightness, my face is purple, my lips are black and my mind is like lead. I want to use ten years of exercise and walk through six healthy bodies in Wanduoli to resist and relax, but it is useless.
My wife found that my lips were black and my face was purple, so she immediately contacted the front desk for oxygen infusion. They brought an oxygen machine. The waiter told a couple in Shanghai yesterday that they were hospitalized for lack of oxygen and would return to Shanghai today. From 7: 00pm to tomorrow12: 00pm,1oxygen supply in 50 yuan. I can't help but start giving oxygen. That night, I put two plastic tubes in my nostrils to absorb oxygen, and my appearance is needless to say.
I got up the next morning and took oxygen for one night, and I felt much better. On the same day, I went to Ji Zha Temple, Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Bajiao Street in Lhasa. The tour guide gave each person two bottles of oxygen, each bottle can last for 5 minutes. I have critical oxygen in my bag. I still have high objections. Dinner is in national hotel, Tibet. When I got back to my room, I still felt dizzy and had difficulty breathing. My wife also feels chest tightness and dizziness. I asked the front desk to push two oxygen machines, one for me and my wife, and I spent the night oxygen 300 yuan.
Get up early on the third day, my wife and I feel much better. On the same day, I went to Linzhi and Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon and visited more than a dozen scenic spots for many days. The altitude there is below 3000 meters, and my symptoms of hyperreflexia have completely disappeared.
On the last day, I returned to Lhasa, went to Yongcuo, Yang Zhuo, and lived in national hotel, Tibet. My rebellion has basically disappeared. The next morning, I flew back to Shanghai from Lhasa via Chongqing. I went to Lhasa airport yesterday and met a 23-year-old Jinan guy. Because I couldn't stand the high rebellion in Lhasa, I flew back to Jinan that day.
Travel to Tibet will inevitably encounter high reaction, because oxygen is thin, and everyone's reaction is different. My experience has proved that it is basically useless to take those drugs to prevent high fever in advance. The only effective way to prevent high fever is to stay in Lhasa Hotel that day, do nothing after dinner, lie down immediately and rest with an oxygen machine. A small bottle of oxygen sent for 60 yuan is useless! Generally speaking, a group tour usually stays in Lhasa for two nights first, and it is basically no problem to take oxygen for two consecutive nights (except especially serious ones)!
This is the real experience of my wife and I overcoming the high rebellion in Tibet to complete the tour for your reference!
According to my two experiences in Tibet, apart from drinking Rhodiola 10 a few days before I entered Tibet, the most important thing is to use Rhodiola powder every day after I entered Tibet and buy Rhodiola soaked in water like small bark at a cheaper price. Drink boiled water or tea when you are thirsty every day! It definitely works!
Let's talk about my first experience. When I entered Qinghai-Tibet, the pain in the back of my head was slight during the day when Wudaoliang was away, and the pain in the back of my head was aggravated when I lived in Wudaoliang at night. My heart beat obviously faster and I couldn't sleep! Companions are highly rebellious to varying degrees. But everyone insisted on it, and it would be good to go to the small clinic on the side of the national road to breathe some oxygen during the day!
Don't be nervous when you encounter high opposition, and don't add a burden to your heart. In general, slight hyperreflexia is a process of adaptation and adjustment of the body, and oxygen is not needed. Pay attention to breathing smoothly and don't run and jump. In case of high reaction, stop to have a rest and blow cold air, and try not to drive. High reaction can easily make people feel groggy, distracted, and lack of oxygen in their minds can easily lead to prejudgment and accidents. In addition, personal willpower is also an important factor to overcome high treason!
Hello! I'm Jodie, a girl who focuses on mountain climbing, rock climbing, skiing and other light extreme sports.
Give you some advice on preventing altitude sickness:
1. It is suggested to bring inosine (buy blue box), glucose, rhodiola and the like to prevent altitude sickness.
When I just got off the train, I didn't feel anything, and I felt normal. At this time, many people think that they are running and jumping, but they are actually wrong. Altitude sickness usually begins after arriving in Lhasa for a while or the next day, so remember not to run and jump, not to get too excited, not to make a hullabaloo about, drink plenty of water, and not to smoke or drink when you first arrive. You can drink rhodiola and glucose in moderation. Drink inosine once a day. From now on, think of yourself as an 8-month pregnant woman. It doesn't matter if you move slowly. Besides, don't take a shower when you first arrive in Tibet!
3. If you are really worried about altitude sickness when you enter Tibet for the first time, you can start drinking an inosine every day one week (or even one month) in advance. This has been tried by many donkey friends, and the effect is very good. It is very effective in improving physical fitness, strengthening cardiovascular system and relieving altitude sickness.
Inosine oral liquid, blue box, is very effective in preventing hyperreflexia. Drink it after hyperreflexia. I can't say the specific reason. When you climb high-altitude mountains outdoors, you will be given inosine and inosine for the first time, which is enough to prove the role of inosine in high altitude.
