Love Sailimu Prose

In my subconscious mind, getting up at 5:30 in Xinjiang is equivalent to watching the Champions League at 3:30 at home. So that morning, I started my trip to Ili with a hazy wake-up ritual of watching the Champions League, missing the Champions League final.

When we arrived at the travel agency, it was not yet seven o'clock, and it started to rain faintly. I couldn't help but start to worry about whether this trip could go smoothly. Do I have to watch the microwave ripples of Lake Sai in the drizzle? If this is the case, then the character I am so proud of is really weak this time.

Finally the bus arrived. Since this was a group tour for individual travelers, we had to go to another travel agency to pick up tourists. The people getting on the bus one after another were all grandfathers and grandmothers. I couldn't help but feel colder and colder as I watched. Do I really want to watch the microwave ripples of Sai Lake with a group of old men and women in the drizzle?

The tour group of 47 people was declared established after the last few grandparents boarded the bus. A major feature of Xinjiang tourism is taking a car. As the saying goes, if you don’t visit Xinjiang, you won’t know how big China is; if you don’t visit Ili, you won’t know the beauty of Xinjiang. The main attraction on the first day is Sailimu Lake, one of the most sacred and beautiful lakes in my mind. Before departure, I heard from the aunt at the travel agency that the grassland of Saihu Lake was full of small yellow flowers, which was so beautiful. With excitement, all the way to the west, all the way to the sun!

The bus was driving on the straight Lianhuo Expressway. Through the car window, you could clearly see the stretching Tianshan Mountains beside the road. The Tianshan Mountains, covered with white snow all year round, are like loyal guards, escorting travelers into the distance. The scenery outside the window was constantly changing. I also saw the Gobi Desert for the first time, got to know Haloxylon ammodendron and saw wild horses. Although the journey was long, it was not boring. It was almost eight o'clock and we arrived at Sailimu Lake!

Before I came here, I read a lot of pictures and travel notes about Sai Lake. It is a kind of beauty that can shock travelers to tears. Countless tourists are fascinated by it. I also regard it as a holy lake. General worship. There is no need to go into details about the introduction of Sai Lake and the description of its beautiful scenery. In the year of Qi Jin, she once said, "In life, if you taste the joyful scenery once, write an article about cuckoos crying blood, and meet a person who is pleasing to the eye, that's enough..." If you click this Meaning defines life, so Saihu Lake is definitely the most enjoyable scenery I have ever tasted. This place is famous for its rich and varied blue color. During the day, at different times and under the sunlight from different angles, the color of Sai Lake is different. The blue of Saihu Lake is hearty, refreshing, and majestic. Grasslands, wild flowers, clear water, reflections, snow-capped mountains, blue sky, white clouds, no matter which angle you look at, Sai Lake presents a calm atmosphere and the majesty of a mountain and moat lake.

I thought I would be shocked to the point of tears like others, but when I came into close contact with it, I found that I was not. It's not because it's not beautiful enough, it's just because it's so magnificent that I enjoy every minute and every second here even more. I can't bear to blink, and I can't bear to appreciate it with a pretentious and delicate attitude. I just quietly feel the beauty it brings me, and try to remember the mysterious experience this land has brought me. I took photos, picked stones, drank water directly from Saihu Lake, walked on the soft grass, jumped on the lake water under the blue sky, sat in the middle of the straight and long road, and breathed with a hint of ice-cold freshness. In the air, stop and look out at Sai Lake, the ripples of the waves, the reflection of the snowy mountains, the white clouds reflecting the blue sky, and the lake's uniform color, which is a great pleasure to enjoy. I wanted to do my best to keep this beauty, but at the moment I left, I found that it had already been embedded in my heart, waiting in the deepest part.

After waiting for half a year, I only got a two-hour stay, which left me feeling a little unsatisfied. I can't forget the bone-piercing water temperature; I can't forget the clear and drinkable water of Saihu Lake; I can't forget the carefully selected wishing stones; I can't forget the cold mountain climate; I can't forget the mysterious landscape of the cloudy and sunny sky; I can't forget the pious presence. I can’t forget the wish I made on the general platform; I can’t forget the Kazakh herdsmen galloping on their horses; I can’t forget the complicated emotions of being reluctant to let go after getting my wish.

If Sailimu Lake shows the majesty of nature, then Guozigou Bridge shows us the perfect combination of human civilization and nature. Equally shocking, the beauty of Guozigou Bridge lies in its height and danger. According to Director Wu, the main part of the bridge and one pier alone cost hundreds of millions. Having witnessed this luxury with my own eyes and feeling the convenience it brings, I have to say that it is money well spent.

Dinner was eaten under a grape trellis similar to a farmyard, with eight people per table and eight dishes and one soup. Since they had been hungry for almost a day, everyone rushed to eat like wolves and tigers. After almost every dish was served, the whole plate was empty in an instant. Competitors like me, who are slow eaters, have changed their usual style. They are like starving people, struggling to have enough food like a foodie. Although it's not good to not be full in the end, I enjoyed the process and I haven't had such a strong desire for food in a long time.

Before staying overnight, I went to the canteen and bought a pen. I planned to write postcards to my relatives and friends far away. However, when I returned to my accommodation, I found that there was no table! I could only lie down on the bed, open the note, and write down each person's address one stroke at a time.

It’s night, put on your clothes and go to bed.
