European guide to money
How much should I take to Europe?
During my trip to Europe, I spent the following time:
Required part-driver tip: 5 euros ×8 days = 40 euros; Food and water are about 40 euros; Toilet 1.5 Euros× 8 days = 12 Euros
Selected part-Moulin Rouge Paris performance: 125 Euro; Dutch self-funded project 15 Euro, Belgian self-funded project 15 Euro; Perfume 96 euros; Jewelry 58 euros; Crafts 24 euros; Scarf 25 euros; Chocolate 37 euros; Subway and electric tickets cost about 5 euros.
* * * Total: 492 euros
This is almost the "minimum consumption" in our group. If we choose more self-funded projects, our desire for consumption will be higher. If we buy a LV or Longines, we will have a solid wallet. I don't have a few euros with me because I got the VISA Euro Card specially given by China Bank to the first group of Hong Kong China Travel Service, which can overdraw 1 000 euros. Unexpectedly, sometimes the card can't be swiped, so I have to borrow money. It seems that in addition to credit cards, you have to bring thousands of euros in cash in your pocket.
What to buy in Europe?
France: Buy the most expensive, or don't buy it.
Unless you buy top brands like LV and Chanel, there is really nothing to buy in Paris. And I've never seen a place as expensive as the duty-free shop in Paris airport!
Germany: Buy as much as you can.
47 1 1 Cologne and Zlilun brand knives are the most worth buying, and leather goods, jewelry and clothing are also cheaper than other countries. The price of the same Tissot watch before the tax rebate in Germany is cheaper than that after the tax rebate in Belgium.
Belgium: chocolate
A street near the big square is full of chocolate shops. Because there are many people from China, some of them have the symbol of China. Like many cities in Europe, Swarovski also has a specialty store here, but it is not much cheaper than in China.
Where is the most cost-effective place to eat?
If you want to solve the problem of eating simply and economically in your spare time, you can refer to the following suggestions:
The food at gas stations is generally good and cheap. A large box of salad 1 euro, two sandwiches or pancake meat rolls are 3 euros, and the packages of gas stations and fast food restaurants range from 7 euros to 20 euros. If you have food and vegetables, you can eat well at 15 euros.
Order what you can see. Many street shops have real dishes in their windows, and the prices are clearly marked. What you want to eat is clear at a glance and will not be slaughtered.
Hotels in tourist attractions are still not good. One is expensive, and the other is eating inexplicably. Six of us found a small restaurant with a Chinese menu opposite the Louvre, and ordered a tomato salad, a mixed salad, two long salmon and six glasses of beer (the price of drinks is not printed on the menu, so according to our previous experience of 3 euros a cup, we won't delve into it). As soon as the food was served, two salads were served, one for tomatoes and the other for lettuce. Wait a minute, it's actually 80 euros! A glass of beer is 8 euros, and the service charge alone accounts for nearly 20% of the total price!
Which country is the most worth visiting?
More than 90% people in our group will answer "Germany"! If you want to sign up for a multi-country tour, it is strongly recommended to choose a group that stays in Germany for a long time; If the tour you signed up for stays in Germany for a short time, use every minute to feel Germany and spend every penny on shopping in Germany.
What is the most useless thing to bring?
Electric cup. First, hotels are large in scale and are generally equipped with electric cups; Second, I went out to see the scenery during the day, went out to drink and go shopping at night, and it was early morning when I returned to the hotel, so I didn't have time to boil hot water. After drinking tap water all the way, I found nothing unusual.
