One-day tour of scenic spots in Liuhe ancient town
There are many scenic spots in the tourist resort (Liuhe Town) of the Yangtze River estuary, including traditional gardens (mainly peony festival in spring and chrysanthemum exhibition in autumn), Liuhe ancient town, Tianfei Palace, Meihua Caotang (Zhu Qizhan Memorial Hall), Wu Jianxiong's former residence and ancient fort. Newer ones are Jiangtan Wetland Park and Old Photo Exhibition Hall. Of course, you can't go to Liuhe without eating, and the three fresh foods in the river and the sea are well deserved.
Liuhe ancient town
It is located on both banks of Haocaotang, with Zhongxin Street on the left and Hexi Street on the right, covering an area of 0.39 square kilometers. From south to north, there are Shuiguanqiao, Admiralty Bridge, Beishiqiao and Caohao Bridge. There are nearly 80 wooden buildings facing the street, all of which are ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are not many people in the ancient town, and there is not much commercialization. Visiting the ancient town is very clean and leisurely, and there are not many places to eat near noon.
