Xiaoyangshan, formerly known as Yangshan, together with Dayangshan, Shenjiawan Island and Tangnao Mountain, are the main islands of the rugged archipelago. There are 8 ancient cliff stone carvings on Xiaoguanyin Mountain. "Broad sea and sky" is engraved on the rock wall on the top of the mountain. It is a letter written by Zhang Wenzhi, the commander of the military capital in the 36th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1608). It is the earliest inscription on the island. The two characters "Yijian" can be called the "King of Big Characters". They are engraved on the huge wall on the west slope. Each character is 3.8 meters high and 3.5 meters wide. It was written by Li Kai, the magistrate of Qingtian County in the 41st year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. The writing is strong and heroic. Stunning, it is the largest cliff carving among the islands in Zhejiang. Other inscriptions such as "Kunpeng Transformation Place", "Mainstream", "Shui Tian Kuo Place" and "Haiyan Boning" are all majestic and majestic. Most tourists like to take photos here.
