Introduction of Kuqa Grand Canyon Scenic Area

Xinjiang Kuqa Grand Canyon National Geopark is adjacent to Tianshan Mountain in the north and Tarim Basin in the south. It is a veritable museum of geological wonders, centering on the mysterious Tianshan Grand Canyon, including the underwater wonders of Yanshuigou, Tianshan Wonders, Hongshan Stone Forest, Kizil Sub-Canyon, Longtan, Xiaolongchi and other natural landscapes, as well as the protection of geological relics around 200 kilometers.

Kuqa Grand Canyon is a "living fossil" in geology. It was selected as one of the top ten most beautiful canyons in China in 2004 and one of the top ten most beautiful canyons in the world by National Geographic magazine in 2005. The Grand Canyon is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national geological park, and it is a bright pearl on the golden tourist corridor in Xinjiang at the northern foot of the Silk Road and the middle section of National Highway 2 17.

Features of Kuqa Grand Canyon:

The Grand Canyon is roughly in a north-south arc, with its opening slightly bent to the southeast and its end slightly bent to the northeast. It consists of a main valley and seven branch valleys, with a total length of over 5000 meters. The natural drop from the valley bottom to the valley mouth is more than 200 meters. The width of the valley bottom is 53 meters, and the narrowest point is 0.4 meters. Only one person can bow his head and pass sideways.

Where is Kuqa fun?

Question 1: What is the most prosperous and interesting place in Kuqa? Kuqa is one of the four major tourist counties and cities in Xinjiang. More than 80 grottoes, ancient castles, beacon towers and other cultural relics are scattered around, with more than 500 caves and murals covering an area of 20,000 square meters. Kumutura Thousand Buddha Cave and Qizil Thousand Buddha Cave, one of the four largest grottoes in China, were built in the Jin Dynasty and attracted worldwide attention. There are more than 50 cultural relics protection units at or above the county level in Qiuci Ancient Site, which are listed as 4 national key cultural relics protection units and 9 autonomous regional key cultural relics protection units 19. Among them, Qizil Thousand Buddha Cave has applied to be listed as an ancient heritage of human culture in the United Nations. Kuqa Cave Temple, as well as Dunhuang, is the earliest, largest and largest cave group in western Dunhuang. Famous scenic spots include Qizil Thousand-Buddha Cave, Tianshan Mystery Grand Canyon, Kumutula Thousand-Buddha Cave, Mu Sen Sem Thousand-Buddha Cave, Qizil Gaha Thousand-Buddha Cave, Qizil Gaha Beacon Tower, Hu Lili Buddhist Temple, Yanshuigou, Tianshan Longtan, Taklimakan Desert, Tarim River primeval forest scenery and Linji Road. Numerous historical relics and historic sites make Kuqa the pursuit point and tourist destination for studying the development of Chinese and foreign ancient and modern history and culture. Kuqa is surrounded by mountains, rugged rocks, alpine lakes, waterfalls and flowing springs, which are admired by many film and television directors at home and abroad. Many Chinese and foreign films choose to shoot in Kuqa.

Question 2: What's interesting about Kuqa? Kuqa Grand Canyon and Thousand Buddha Cave are quite distinctive.

Known as the "art treasure house", Qizil Thousand Buddha Cave is famous for its beautiful murals. Qizil Thousand Buddha Cave is located in the foothills or cliffs on the north bank of Muzati River, 7 kilometers southeast of Qizil Township between Kuqa and Baicheng County. Qizil Thousand-Buddha Cave is backed by Mingwutag Mountain, and bordered by Muzalte River and Qiertag Mountain in the south. The mountains are surrounded by water and the trees are lush, reflecting each other and forming a magnificent picture. Qizil Grottoes were dug in the third and fourth centuries, that is, in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. It flourished in the sixth and seventh centuries and continued to be built for about 500 years. * * * Teaching was gradually abandoned after its introduction. At present, there are 236 numbered caves, of which 135 caves are relatively complete and 75 caves are well preserved. The statues and murals of the Thousand Buddha Cave in Qizil are all in Zhiti Cave. The total area of murals is about 10000 square meters.

The outstanding artistic achievements of the Thousand Buddha Cave in Qizil are mainly reflected in two aspects: first, the murals in the cave are magnificent and colorful, and the contents of the murals in the cave are mainly Buddha Sakyamuni with Buddhist scriptures as the theme; Disciples of monks and nuns; Bunsen Buddha tells stories; After changing the picture, the Tiangong is full of music, flying and supporting people. Among them, indigenous stories depicted in a large number of diamond-shaped pictures occupy a very prominent position. In a large number of stories about Buddha and God, Gu Qiuci's artists skillfully reflect people and things, love and hate in real life directly or indirectly on the screen.

The special cave shape, mural theme and artistic style of Qizil Grottoes reflect the social image of ancient Qiuci in many ways. Although the statues as the main body of art have been destroyed, the remaining murals provide valuable information for studying Qiuci's social history, Buddhism, culture and art and the relationship between China and the West. The second is the grotto architecture, including Zhiti Cave for monks to watch Buddha statues and lecture, and Piheluo Cave for monks to live and meditate. There are grottoes in Zhiti Grottoes, which are tall, open and have plastic Buddha standing on the front wall. The main room is rectangular, including the central column hole of the tower column. Pihe Luoku, also known as the monk's room, is mostly a living room with authentic structure, and there are simple living facilities such as stoves and kang in the small room. These caves with different types and uses are often regularly built together and combined into units. Judging from the layout, each unit may be a Buddhist temple. As can be seen from the layout, Qizil Thousand Buddha Cave was a large-scale Buddhist temple in Qiuci area at that time. This kind of grotto structure and layout is rare in China grotto architecture.

State-level economic and technological development zones, national health county towns, top 100 counties and cities in China, famous historical and cultural cities in China, the site of Daughter's Country, and Hafeng in Kizil are the World Heritage List. Then there is the ski resort in Kuqa. It hasn't snowed yet, and there are mysterious grand canyons and hot springs in Baicheng, which should be enough. You can also go to the deserts and orchards around these cities. But now this season ... I suggest going to ski resorts, Kuqa and indoor swimming places when it snows ... I forget what it's called ... inn ... but personally, I think it's better to come in summer. There are many fruits to eat, and now I can still eat fragrant pears and red Fuji.

Kuqa tourist attractions daquan

Kuqa tourist attractions, Kuqa Qizil Thousand Buddha Cave, Kuqa Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon, Kuqa Longtan.

It belongs to Kuqa County of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the eastern end of Aksu region. Kuqa, known as Qiuci in ancient times, is a bright pearl on the ancient Silk Road, the birthplace of Qiuci culture and the treasure of oriental art, and is known as music city in the western regions, the hometown of singing and dancing, and the hometown of ginkgo in China.

Recommend Kuqa specialties, including mutton, dried Kuqa apricots, Kuqa naan and so on.

What are the main tourist attractions in Kuqa, Xinjiang? And the general situation of accommodation and tourist routes?

The county garage is not very big, and there are many hotels. The number of better hotels is generally around 300 or less, and the average hotel is above 100.

The scenic spot of Kuqa can go to Xiaotianchi (Kuqa's hometown, which I visited several times in middle school, and now it has been renamed Dalongtan, damn it, it's ugly). The scenery along the way is beautiful and green, but the altitude is a little high and the ultraviolet rays are strong. Take your coat, don't freeze. It takes about 2 hours to get there from Kuqa. You can stay there at night.

The second place, the mysterious Grand Canyon, is a canyon between the earth and the mountains. It's not green, but it's a little hot. Take water and an umbrella. Depart from the county seat in the morning and come back in the evening.

The third attraction, you can visit Tarim National Populus euphratica Forest Park and enjoy the desert by the way. Kowtowing machines (pumping oil) from all over the country leave the county town in the morning and come back at night.

The fourth is the ancient city of Qiuci. If you are interested in history, you can go and have a look. If you are not interested, forget it.

If you leave on the last day, you can go to the Ecological Park Hotel in Kuqa for dinner. Compared with a few days ago, you will feel that this is a small south of the Yangtze River.
