During the rainy season, 4,000 tons of ships can reach Kompong Cham and Kratie provinces, and 200 tons of ships can reach Shangding, an important town in northeastern Cambodia. Through tonle sap river, they can enter Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Indo-China Peninsula, and it is also a freshwater fish warehouse in Cambodia. The only two railways in Cambodia meet in Phnom Penh.
