People embroider pictures of the five poisons on children's pockets, vests, shoes, hats and other clothes to restrict evil and poisonous things that harm children.

5. Steamed flower buns during the Chinese New Year. According to custom, from the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month to the fifteenth of the first lunar month, every household begins to steam steamed buns, transforming the ordinary wheat flour steamed buns into handicrafts. The locals consider it a joy to have them - the unique staple food "flower buns" in Shaanxi.
