Tangwan Village is located in the north of Luojing Town, bounded by Xinlu Village in the east, Jiading Jiejing River in the west, and Jiading Jiejing River in the south. Xinmiao Village is adjacent to Xinlu Village and Yangqiao Village to the north. The main roads in the village include Hutai Road, Bei_chuan Road, Jining Road, Huxin Road, Ningshen Road, and Ningdong Road, and the main rivers include Dijing River and Chaotang River. The Tangwan Village Committee is located in Zhang Chenzhai. Tangwan Village is named after its East and West Tangwan houses. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, it belonged to the four administrative villages of People, Liberation, United, and Democracy. In 1956, it belonged to the Second and Third Brigades of Yangqiao, and in 1959, it was called the Third Brigade of Yangqiao. , belonging to Luojing Commune, was renamed Tangwan Brigade in 1960. In 1962, Han and Gu Jiazhai of Tangwan Village were transferred from Yangqiao Brigade to Tangwan Brigade. In 1984, the Brigade was withdrawn and renamed Tangwan Village, belonging to Luojing Town. The natural village consists of the natural villages Zhangchenzhai, Tangjiazhai, Qutangzhai, Xitangzhai, Dongtangzhai, Dongchenzhai, Xichenzhai, Hanjiazhai, Gujiazhai, Lujiazhai and Jacketzhai. The total population is 1,787 people. Among them: there are 383 households in the village, with a population of 1,296, 193 people on rural insurance, 372 people on town insurance, 315 people on urban insurance, and 491 migrants. The other population is 414. Tangwan Village and Panqiao Village, Sanqiao Village, Wangjialou Village, Haihong Village, Huahong Village, Haixing Village, Yangqiao Village, Gaochunshu Village, Minmin Village, Pailou Village, Hejian Village, Jiefang Village, Xinlu Village and Xinmiao Village are adjacent to each other.

On November 17, 2017, the Central Civilization Committee decided to award Tangwan Village the fifth national civilized village title.

On November 13, 2019, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recommended Tangwan Village as a beautiful leisure village in China in 2019.

On August 26, 2020, Tangwan Village was selected into the second batch of national rural tourism key villages.
