Will you be refused entry if you travel with an APEC business card?

Why should I apply for an APEC business travel card? What are the benefits?

Multi-country access: one card in hand, free access in 5 years 16 countries, no need to apply for any visa in 5 years.

Convenience of customs clearance: most Asia-Pacific countries have special APEC channels at entry and exit ports, and cardholders enjoy the convenience of priority and rapid customs clearance.

Cost saving: APEC card is equivalent to multiple five-year round-trip visas between APEC economies. After holding this card, you don't have to pay any visa fees for five years, which greatly saves the cost of the enterprise.

Duration of stay: Cardholders can stay for at least 60 days and at most 90 days each time they enter the country.

How long can my card stay in each economy?

The maximum allowable stay in each economy is 60 days or 90 days, as follows:

60 days: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea.

90 days: Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Brunei, Mexico, Peru and Chile.

If the travel card is valid for less than 60 days or 90 days, you need to leave the country before the card expires.

Cardholders from other economies can stay in China for 60 days at a time.
