The diploma of City University of Macau is recognized by China. CityUniversityof Macau: City University of Macau (Portuguese: UniversidadedaCidadedeMacau, English: City University of Macau), founded in 198 1, formerly known as the University of East Asia, is the first modern university in Macau, the earliest university to offer postgraduate education in Macau and a member university of the United Nations World Tourism Organization. It has a pioneering historical position in the history of Macao's higher education development. City University is one of the three universities in Macao Special Administrative Region with the right to award bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree. Now it has three campuses, the main campus is located in Taipa University Hill, Macau, with a total area of about 86,000 square meters. Surrounded by mountains and seas, the school can enjoy the scenery of the South China Sea, the Pearl River and Macao, and is known as "the most beautiful university campus in Macao". The school is dominated by humanities and social sciences, and other disciplines develop together. Most of its teachers graduated from Yale University, Oxford University, Columbia University, Hongkong University, Tsinghua University and other famous universities at home and abroad. The university also hired a group of famous teachers to teach students, including top experts such as academicians of American Association for the Advancement of Science, China Academy of Sciences, China Academy of Engineering, Academia Sinica and American Society of Mechanical Engineering. More than 99% of teachers have doctorates. At present, the comprehensive academic level of CityU ranks third in Australia. At present, City University has established partnerships with more than 0/00 universities around the world, such as Liaoning University, Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Chinese Culture University, Oxford University, National Sun Yat-sen University, Louisiana State University and Grust University. Teaching is conducted in Chinese, English and Portuguese. Business, international tourism, psychology, cultural industry and other disciplines are the dominant disciplines in Chengdu, and some disciplines are in the leading position in the world or Asia. From June, 2065438 to June, 2005, with the approval of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the City University of Macau will fully enter the "Taizai New Campus".
