The cost of traveling in Europe. How much is a trip to Europe?

This is indeed a very complicated problem. Different travel plans vary greatly in cost. I have lived in Europe and France for 9 years, during which I have been to Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Greece, Spain and Britain. These places are all planned by myself, which can be said to be completely free. I also went to Iceland and Eastern Europe (that is, Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic) with the local travel agency in Paris. Since this is a short talk, I will briefly talk about my experience from four aspects: transportation, accommodation, catering and sightseeing. As for shopping, it really varies from person to person.

Transportation: First of all, talk about transportation. Public transportation in Europe is very developed. Long-distance flight, short-distance high-speed rail or carpooling, driving, walking in the city (because most cities in Europe are relatively small), or taking buses, subways and trams. The ticket price is very cheap. Take Paris to Rome as an example. The round-trip ticket price is about 170 euros, that is, 1300 RMB, and the flight time is 2 hours. If you can drive to your city every day (personally, I suggest that the mileage should not exceed 400 kilometers every day, otherwise you will be very tired), then you can choose to drive by yourself. The rent for an ordinary Fiat is 20-30 euros per day, which is about RMB 100-200 yuan. I usually choose to walk in the city, because Europe is full of people and scenery. As long as you are not in a hurry, why not measure every ideal city with your feet?

Accommodation: there are many accommodation options and the prices are ever-changing. Generally speaking, it is more expensive than in China, and it is an important expense in travel. I have seen five-star luxury hotels with prices ranging from several thousand RMB to several hundred thousand RMB per night. General budget hotels are located in the city center, with relatively small room area, and the price ranges from 50 euros to 65,438+050 euros per night. This kind of hotel is usually marked with three stars. In fact, it is similar to domestic economy hotels. The room is not big, only about 18 square meters, but it is well-equipped, clean and comfortable. There are many so-called budget hotels in Europe, and the price can be as low as 30 euros per night. Apart from the far location and incomplete facilities, it is not recommended to stay. Another way is to live in the home of local China people, commonly known as "family hotels". The cheap price per night is 10-20 euros. The environment is average, but at least the location is good.

Dining: Eating in Europe is more expensive than in China, and there is no such thing as a "small restaurant" in Europe. I usually solve the food problem in two ways. First, I went to a restaurant to taste local specialties. This phone bill is higher, and a menu should cost at least 10 euros. In fact, most of them are more than 20 euros, including appetizers, main courses and desserts. Since it is a tour, we should try some local characteristics. The second way is to go to the supermarket to buy raw materials or semi-finished products and go back to the hotel to do it. Yes, this is a hotel. I usually book a hotel with a kitchen and kitchenware, so I can cook for myself.

Sightseeing: To be honest, the cost of sightseeing in Europe is really a conscience price. Many cities have passes and packages, and many natural scenery is not included in the scenic spot. You can see many outdoor attractions at will. Most museums and galleries belonging to this country have ticket prices below 65,438+00 euros. The most expensive scenic spot I have ever been to is Jungfrau in Interlaken, Switzerland, because it takes more than 4 hours to get to the top by train, and the round trip takes more than 160 Swiss francs, which is more than 1600 RMB. But on the whole, many famous scenic spots can be seen without tickets or with little money, which is very cost-effective.
