Mayi Temple Tower is not the present nine floors, but the original thirteen floors. Because this pagoda was built in the blessed land of the fairy mountain, it absorbed the true spirit of heaven and earth, absorbed the essence of the sun and the moon, and had spirituality. Every day, when people are asleep, it stretches out from the top of the mountain and bends down to the Qinshui River to drink water.

One day, while drinking water, a pregnant woman in Shiqu village opposite just gave birth to a baby in labor. The pagoda has a bloody intuition and feels bad. When it was about to lift itself, the midwife poured dirty water when the pregnant woman gave birth. The blood gas thundered, the tower shook a few times, the ninth grade went back to the mountain, and the fourth grade fell into the Qinhe River.

On this day, heavy rain, flash floods broke out and the Qinhe River was at high tide. The four-level pagoda collapsed in the river was washed to Duanshi area in the lower reaches of Qinhe River.
