I say "memory" because this is a photo from ten years ago. I don't know what these places have become now.

When you arrive in South Korea, you must check out the 38th Line.
This is a train station on the 38th Line, where the north-south railway was interrupted during the Korean War. During the period of President Kim Dae-jung, North-South relations eased and this railway station was built. It is said to be a special railway station built to unify the North and South. Due to changes in the situation, this station has never been used after it was built. It has now become a tourist attraction.
The soldiers in the station are very powerful. Why do they look like the guards in Taiwan? [Big Gold Teeth]
The inspection when getting on and off the bus is still very serious.
The bombed locomotive during the Korean War
This is a sculpture that symbolizes the unification of the North and the South. It is a ball that is about to be closed by several people pushing it. However, the good wishes have not been realized to this day. , and it's back to tense situations.
The third tunnel is a tunnel built by North Korea from China to Seoul. It was introduced that a North Korean engineer who defected to South Korea told South Korea that North Korea had dug several tunnels under the "38th Parallel" in order to get closer and attack South Korea. South Korea attaches great importance to this and has buried many pipelines for surveillance. If there is any movement below, it will be discovered. South Korea discovered 7 tunnels in one day, and currently only the third tunnel is open to tourists.
The open tunnel is entered from the South Korean side. The stone in the tunnel is very hard. North Korea has really put in a lot of effort. The tunnel is very low. There is a section where you can hardly stand straight up. You can go all the way to the 38th Parallel, but then the tunnel is blocked, and North Korea is in front of you.

Ilchulbong Peak is a mountain in Jeju, South Korea. Seongsan Sunrise Peak is 182 meters above sea level. It was formed by the eruption of a submarine volcano 100,000 years ago. There are cliffs to the southeast and north, and only the lawn ridge to the northwest is connected to Seongsan Village. Since the ridge is paved with grass, you can go for a walk or ride a horse.
Cheonjeyeon Falls is one of the top ten famous scenic spots on Jeju Island. It is located among the mountain cliffs in Seogwipo City, Jeju Island.
Yongduam Rock, located on the coast of Yongtandong, Jeju City, Jeju Island, South Korea, is a huge volcanic rock formed after the lava from the Halla Mountain volcano cooled 2 million years ago. Yongtou Rock is 10 meters high and 30 meters long. It is named Yongtou Rock because it looks like a dragon head and there are rocks near the coast.
The stones here are called columnar joints, and the same stones in Northern Ireland are called the Giant's Causeway.
It is formed by lava flows rising to the surface. The most prominent part is the Giant's Causeway pillars. Because the lava cools slowly and at a uniform rate, it continues to shrink during cooling, turning the cooled lava into a prism shape. During the cooling and contraction process, the cracks on the surface spread throughout the lava, forming many vertical veins that separated the flat basalt columns.

Maybe it is a nun, not sure.
Hallasan Mountain is one of the three most famous mountains in South Korea. With an altitude of 1,950 meters, it is the highest mountain in South Korea and can be seen from anywhere on Jeju Island. Gyeongbokgung Palace is the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty (Lee Dynasty Joseon).
Gyeongbokgung Palace was first built in 1395 (the 28th year of Hongwu reign of Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty) and has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. The area and regulations of the royal palace strictly followed the suzerain-vassal relationship with the suzerain country, China. The restoration of the buildings we saw should not take long.

Blue House is the official residence of the President of South Korea. It was originally the palace of the Goryeo Dynasty. After the Joseon Dynasty established its capital in Seoul in 1426, it was used as the back garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace. This is similar to our Forbidden City and Zhongnanhai.
Blue House was newly built when President Roh Tae-woo was in office. The main building of Blue House is the official residence of the President of South Korea. There are presidential office, reception hall, conference room, living room, and auxiliary buildings including secretary room, guard room and guest building.
There has long been discussion about "feng shui" at the Blue House. On March 20, 2022, South Korea's president-elect Yoon Seok-yue announced that the South Korean presidential palace would be moved from the Blue House to the Ministry of National Defense Building in Yongsan District, Seoul. He also promised to open the Blue House to the outside world on his first day in office. If you go to Korea again, you should be able to visit the inside of the Blue House.
