Things to note when traveling to Mount Lu
Tips for Lushan Tourism
Lushan is one of China’s top ten famous mountains, a world cultural heritage, a national AAAAA tourist attraction, and one of China’s four major summer resorts. So what should you pay attention to when traveling to Lushan? Let’s take a look together!
1. Except for many trains in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Wuhan and other directions that arrive at Jiujiang Station in the middle of the night, you can only choose to go to Lushan Station ( There is a golden van from Jiujiang Changyou Travel Agency outside Lushan Railway Station. It costs 20 yuan per person to take that bus to the Lulin parking lot. Remember not to buy their so-called 120 yuan package ticket. The mountains are monopolized by sightseeing buses that cost 80 yuan per person.) Other cities If you can get to Jiujiang Station, don't go to Lushan Station. Going uphill at Lushan Station is much more expensive than at Jiujiang Station. When exiting the Jiujiang Railway Station, there is a taxi saying 15 per person for a carpool ride to Lushan. There is something fishy about this. The driver will say that the north gate is closed and the mountain is closed. He will take you to Bailudong Academy (40 per person) and Bilongtan (38 per person). , and then play Sandiequan (64 per person) and ask people to go up the mountain from the Sandiequan gate. Some drivers will sell you a few used tickets and return signs to the mountain, while others will just ignore it. These attractions include Jiujiang’s Xunyang Tower and Pipa Pavilion, both of which cost only RMB 64 on a combined ticket online.
2. It’s still a problem with taxis. Don’t be cheap when looking for a taxi: Jiujiang Railway Station is about 36 kilometers away from Lushan Mountain, including 24 kilometers of winding mountain highway. The journey takes about 1 hour. After leaving the train station Take the No. 1 bus at the door (No. 1 is a general term, 101, 102, 105, etc. are all collectively referred to as No. 1) to the Changhong Overpass. Next to it (formerly known as Honglin Business Hotel and Sunshine No. 1 Leisure Hotel) ) There is a bus to Lushan Mountain in front of Yuyuan Hotel. It costs 15 yuan per person and leaves every half an hour. This time is from 6:30 in the morning to 8 or 9 in the evening. Among them, the Transit bus from Jiujiang to Lushan is from 6:30 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening, every half hour. If the time is wrong and you don't get on, you can take various social vehicles with names starting with Gan G10, 11, 12, and 13 next to you. You can also take a ride up to Lushan in 15. In addition to taking the bus above, you can also get off at the new long-distance bus station. The shuttle bus from Jiujiang to Lushan costs about 15.5 per person. The frequency is less, about every one and a half hours. You can call 0792-8281099 for the specific frequency. It's the bus from the bus station. You can also follow Jiujiang Bus Station on WeChat and buy tickets on WeChat.
3. If you must take a taxi, it is recommended to go out of the train station and stop the taxis passing by on the road. Some unscrupulous drivers in the train station will drag the guests to Beishan Garden Gate and then abandon them. Yes (it is still 24 kilometers away from the mountain), you must explain to the mountain in Guling Town. Guests are also asked to buy a 45 yuan ticket to the mountain when they get here. In fact, taxis in Jiujiang don’t need to buy this ticket, so he can get the 45 yuan by himself. Some drivers pull customers halfway and ask for more money. If they don't pay, they will be left on the road. Therefore, it is more reliable to find a taxi running on the road, or find a taxi on Lushan Mountain to pick you up. The price is about the same, but there are not so many tricks.
4. There are often unlicensed tour guides near the ticket office at the intersection going up the mountain, shouting 120 tickets to self-driving friends. This is a lie. There is no agency or discount for tickets to Lushan Mountain. Also, don't pay attention to some women who say they want to give you a lift to Lushan Mountain. Some guests let them get on the bus out of good intentions. If they turn around and walk halfway, these women will say that their family runs a hotel and restaurant. When you go to eat and stay, the prices are often much more expensive than normal. There are also other platforms such as Taobao that claim to offer discounts on large tickets, which are all lies. In addition, there are many people who enter the mountain at the north gate of Lushan Mountain and say that the big tickets are discounted. They either take guests to play at the foot of the mountain without going up the mountain, or they go around from the small village next to it and charge half the price. Now the car is closed. I can't get through (there is a ticket inspection office at the old garden gate on Lushan Mountain. I check it frequently. If I find it, I have to replenish the ticket. In addition, each small attraction needs to check the big ticket. It is useless without the big ticket)
5 , Self-driving friends will be required to pay the parking fee of 45 yuan when entering Lushan, but this fee does not include the three-dimensional parking lot on Guling Street. Parking in other places is free for 2 hours. If you park beyond the time limit, you will be charged 5 yuan for 2 hours, and then add 1 yuan for 1 hour.
6. Some restaurants have two menus. The one you see is cheaper when you show it, but the one you take out when you check out is much more expensive. If it is not a popular restaurant recommended on the Internet, it is recommended to take a photo of the menu before eating to keep it, so that you can have a reference when you go back to check out. In addition, many restaurants have very cheap menus posted at the door, but when you actually order, they say they are no longer available, or The price at the door is for small plates, but the price for you is for large plates, so the prices are different. In addition, the restaurants in the core scenic area are much more expensive than the restaurants on Guling Street. It is recommended that you bring dry food when you play at noon and go back to the restaurants on Guling Street for dinner in the evening. Attached is the white list (no two menus will not rip off customers) as follows: There are several small courtyards in a row next to Kuangcheng Hotel, Biluoji, Deyilu, Laixinlou, Sanwei Zhenhuo, etc. . . The Shiniu Restaurant next to Shanglu Shanshui on Guling Street is a place where people can enjoy their soup. The Yidianxiang Restaurant and Liu's Private Kitchen are located below the park in the center of the street. Sister restaurants on Dalingou Road, Xianghe Restaurant, Yipin Chicken Restaurant on Yaowa Road, Shancheng Farmhouse Restaurant, etc. Please add more.
7. There are no fixed stalls in the scenic spots. The rejuvenating fruits, ganoderma, immortal grass, etc. sold at all are fake. For example, Wulaofeng can also act, and some people use a hemp rope to show off. He would climb down, take out the fake goods from the cave below, and then climb up again, pretending that they were just picked.
8. People chasing after you with cans of Yunwu tea next to scenic spots are all inferior products and not authentic Lushan Yunwu tea. It will be troublesome as soon as you start talking to them, and they will chase after you. Yes, they all earned 10 yuan for five cans. You can imagine the quality of the tea. Can you drink it?
9. The paid attractions on the mountain are currently Sandie Spring (original 64), Meilu Villa ( The original 25) Lushan Conference site (original 50) and the story of the old villa in Lushan (original 30) are now all free of charge. Normally, you don’t need to go to Shimen Stream and other paid attractions for two or three days. For example, there are people waiting for tourists at Hanpokou to ask for directions. When you ask them, they will say that Hanpokou is 75 per person, which is actually free, or they will take you to the so-called Lushan Waterfall, which flows down three thousand feet. , help him complete the task and so on. In fact, this scenic spot is called Dakou Waterfall, also known as Rainbow Waterfall. The actual water volume is very small, about one-fifth of Sandiequan. It is not cost-effective to spend 75 to see it. The waterfall that Li Bai talked about flowing down three thousand feet was the Xiufeng Waterfall at the foot of the mountain. At that time, the Sandiequan Waterfall had not yet been discovered. Nowadays, Xiufeng Waterfall is no longer as spectacular and playable as Sandiequan Waterfall due to improper environmental protection and soil erosion. Therefore, the most beautiful waterfall in Lushan Mountain is undoubtedly Sandiequan. However, this scenic spot is very tiring, so please be careful with the elderly and children, as it is easy to be unable to climb.
10. Many hotel prices on the mountain do not include air conditioning. Turning on the air conditioning requires an additional 20-50 per night (note that it is one night. Some hotels will turn off the air conditioning control switch in the middle of the night to save energy. Some guests I wake up because of the cold, but why I don’t wake up because it’s not hot in Lushan, and the air conditioner is usually turned on when it’s cold). An additional 10% fee will be charged for invoicing. Friends who need to issue invoices should say hello when booking a room. Disposable toiletries are not provided. Environmentally friendly tourism is implemented on the mountain. Most hotels no longer provide them. If you need to bring your own, please ask. There are also many hotels that do not provide towels, bath towels and hair dryers, but they are usually available for loan at the front desk. Internet access is not available (Internet access is standard in hotels in big cities). Due to limited conditions, many old hotels on the mountain cannot access the Internet. Friends who need to access the Internet should ask. Cards cannot be swiped. Most hotels on the mountain cannot swipe cards and require cash. Even in hotels that accept credit cards, the card machines are often broken and cannot be used during peak seasons. (The bank charges a very high handling fee for credit card swiping. In peak season, it is not cost-effective for large hotels to pay tens of thousands. Basically, you can swipe the card for large tickets.) There are also many hotels that provide hot water at regular intervals, all at night. There is hot water supply only, such as Samsung's New Century Hotel. There are also many with 24-hour hot water, so inquire before booking.
11. Prepare a pair of well-fitting shoes when traveling. We basically walk on our own feet. It is best to choose sneakers, cloth shoes, travel shoes, and flat shoes. Do not wear leather shoes or high heels. , plastic soles or slip-on shoes to enter the scenic area. In icy and snowy weather, you may fall due to slippery roads, so wear straw sandals or special non-slip shoes with nails.
12. Generally speaking, the temperature in mountainous areas is 7-10 degrees lower than that in plain areas. The temperature is cooler in the morning and evening. You must keep warm and bring good clothes. The climate in the mountains is changeable, and the scenic areas are covered with thick ice and snow in winter, so please be sure to bring cold and rain-proof clothing.
13. Lushan Mountain and the lower mountain are winding mountain roads with many and sharp turns. Tourists in need are advised to bring their own anti-motion sickness medicine and take it half an hour before driving. Because Lushan Mountain is a world geological park with a high greening ratio, mosquitoes and other insects are inevitable, so it is best to bring necessary medicines. Such as toilet water and wind oil essence to prevent mosquito bites, and also bring some fire-fighting medicine and band-aids. Friends who drive up the mountain should pay attention. When cornering, you must keep your own path and do not occupy the road. This is safer. In addition, it is actually safer to go up the mountain at night than during the day (except in foggy days).
14. If you want to choose a family hotel, be sure to choose one with an electric water heater. Gas water heaters are unsafe and have had serious accidents. In addition, try to choose a station close to Guling Street and the sightseeing bus station, which is more convenient. It’s best to choose one with pictures.
15. Everyone’s ID card is required to check into the hotel on the mountain, so please bring them all. Hotel rooms are generally limited to one adult per bed. For example, standard rooms and double rooms are limited to 2 adults, and triple rooms are limited to 3 adults.
16. Prices on the mountain are relatively expensive unless they are in core scenic spots such as Wulaofeng, Sandiequan, and the power station dam. Prices on Guling Street are not expensive. In supermarkets Things such as mineral water are only about 1.3 yuan, so you don’t have to carry big and small bags up the mountain.
17. Some cars tell you that it is inconvenient to rent a car for one-day and two-day tours, because Lushan has a monopoly. Only sightseeing cars can enter the scenic spots, and other cars are not allowed to enter. Including taxis, local cars, company cars, etc. You can only buy a seven-day sightseeing car for 80 yuan. If you only have limited time to go to Mount Lushan for a quick tour, and you only want to visit the Ruqin Lake Flower Trail and other scenic spots on the west route, you don’t need to buy it. The scenic spots on the east route are like Wulaofeng Sandie. Quan and others had to take a sightseeing bus to go there. For self-driving cars, you can generally park your car at a hotel or a sightseeing bus station, and then transfer to a sightseeing bus for sightseeing.
18. When booking a room through Taobao or Ctrip Elong, etc., it is generally non-refundable after booking, and money will be deducted for cancellation. You must be careful before booking. It is best to pay attention to the weather forecast, especially If you are traveling with children, if the weather is bad and you want to cancel, you will usually not be allowed to refund, so confirm your itinerary before booking a room.
19. It is generally not recommended to buy Lushan Grand Tickets and sightseeing bus tickets online. Firstly, sometimes there is a text message delay, and the text message has not arrived when people arrive. Secondly, it is not much cheaper. Thirdly, To pick up the ticket, you need to go to a special window to find someone. Sometimes others have already gotten off work or are away, so it takes time to rush over, but the shuttle bus will not wait for you.
20. During holidays, especially during peak seasons such as May Day and National Day, Lushan Mountain sometimes implements the policy of letting one car out and one car in when the number of vehicles exceeds 4,000. Generally, it is easy to go up the mountain if you rush early or late. If you encounter a problem during the peak period, It takes a long time to line up when there are so many people.
21. For products that require verification and reservation for group purchases such as Meituan, even if it states that they are valid on holidays, they usually buy them without making a call and rush to the hotel. Generally, they cannot be used. It is recommended that you buy them first Make a reservation call and ask if rooms are available and if the price is right. In addition, when the room is in short supply, merchants will usually require verification of the voucher number before booking a room. Generally, if they refuse to give the voucher number, they will not be able to reserve a room.
