Mingming Temple in Lingyun Mountain is an ancient temple, 23 kilometers away from Taoshan Forestry Bureau. It was built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of its construction, its building scale was the first temple in Heilongjiang Province. Located on Lingyun Mountain in the application area of Chunguang Forest Farm of Taoshan Forestry Bureau, 23 kilometers away from Taoshan.

There is a touching legend about the establishment of Mingming Temple.

According to legend, the first Taoist immortal, Yuan Shi Tian Zun, realized the Tao in meditation one night. Occasionally Lingyun rises in the northeast, shining with golden light. He feels that golden light is flying from the northeast, and around his immortal body, Yuanshi Tianzun is very happy. The next morning, I sent my disciple, Taoist Tian Tong, to preach in the dust, looking for the place where Lingyun rose and the golden light flashed.

After a long journey to Fengtian (Shenyang), Tian Tong, a Taoist priest, was ordered to go to the mortal world to look for the Northeast, and lived in Fengtian Taoist Temple to meditate and preach scriptures. One day a few decades later, just as he was absorbed in Zen Buddhism and Taoism, Lingyun rose from the northeast again, glittering with gold. Surprised, he remembered the mission of coming to earth and hurried to the north the next day. Because of last night's accident, he hurried on, exhausted and caught a cold. Tian Tong Taoist endured the pain and came to Suihua Ciyun Palace Temple, passing by, and recovered. Taoist Tian Tong was unable to move on because of this disease, but he was ordered by the original Buddha to entrust the task of finding the place where Lingyun rose in Northeast China to Sun Yongqing, a real person practicing in Ciyun Palace. From then on, he turned into a wisp of smoke and returned to Lingshan to report to the deity.

Sun Yongqing, originally from Liaoning, was born in the first year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (185 1) and the sixth year of Guangxu (1884). At the age of 34, he became a monk in Suihua Ciyun Palace and was a disciple of Liu Jiaoxian, the 17th generation leader of Longmen Authentic School. In the 24th year of Guangxu reign (1898), 48-year-old Sun Yongqing was ordered by Taoist Tian Tong to travel hundreds of miles from Suihua Ciyun Palace with his younger brother Liu Yongzhong to a deep mountain in Tieshanbao, where he lived in seclusion with Sun Yongqing. Suddenly, when Sun Zhenren was practicing, he happened to see Lingyun emerge in the southeast, so he set out to chase Lingyun and came to the place where Lingyun appeared. Immediately, Sun Zhenren paid homage to this place and observed it carefully: at the foot of the mountain is a large open swamp wetland, with rows of miscellaneous trees in the middle of weeds more than one person, and a winding river flowing into the pond under the shade. The whole Lingyun Mountain looks like a "chinemys reevesii" crawling on the edge of the swamp to drink water. "0" is a towering hill along the northern edge of osawa. Sun Zhenren was amazed at Lingyun Mountain, an excellent Buddhist and Taoist practice resort, and named it Lingyun Mountain (originally named Qian Taiziling, named after the appearance of gods around Lingyun Mountain). The names of Lingyun Mountain and Lingyun Village have been passed down to this day.

From then on, Taoist Sun dreamed of building a temple to repair this space. Sometimes, some kind people built dozens of temples with Taoist Sun in this mountainous area, and also helped him build Mao's temple to live in. Sun Daoren worked hard to cultivate an acre of land, perhaps because of his hard thinking. One day in summer, Taoist Sun was meditating in the courtyard when he suddenly saw a magnificent temple on the northeast hillside of Caotang, such as the city on the sea. A few years later, Taoist Sun met the "Immortal" twice during meditation practice. The "Immortal" pointed to the glory of the temple and told him that this mountain is a unique fairy town and should be built here. Taoist Sun has a deep understanding and believes in the geomantic omen here, so he tells all these wonders and believes in goodness. Sometimes believers will be deeply moved and sincerely help each other. So the construction of the temple was officially started in Guangxu 3 1 year (1905), and the mixed palace of Taisheng Palace was built the following year. Later, well-intentioned people donated more than 100 pieces of wasteland to temple buildings as a logistics base for food and clothing for Taoist priests. Sun Zhen's men opened the gate, recruited disciples and cultivated the land vigorously.

Since then, the temple has become more and more prosperous, and the temple construction project not only has reliable logistics support, but also has a solid humanistic foundation. Sun Yongqing's reputation as a true Taoist practitioner has not disappeared, and his reputation is getting bigger and bigger. Gan Ru, a fund-raising student at Lele Hall in Jianchang County, Liaoning Province, and Li Zhongshan, the curator, visited him successively. Li Zhongshan knows the Book of Changes, Yin and Yang, and is good at Feng Shui. His arrival further confirmed Ling Yunshan's theory of "fantastic feng shui pulse", and helped Sun Yongqing to determine the location of the temple, and widely advocated its construction. At the same time, Sun Daochang led his disciples to walk thousands of miles and visited famous temples all over the country, making careful design and construction for the construction of Mingming Temple. After more than ten years, he finally built this famous Mingming Temple in Northeast China, which integrates Buddhism and Taoism.
