Purpose of the World Tourism Organization

Promote and develop tourism, so that it is conducive to economic development, international mutual understanding, peace and prosperity, and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms regardless of race, sex, language or religious belief, and emphasize that special attention should be paid to the interests of developing countries in tourism when implementing this purpose.
