The world cultural heritage "Longmen Grottoes" has now become a scenic spot among network celebrities. What do you see? Is it worth going?

Luoyang, where Longmen Grottoes are located, is the ancient capital of the 13th Dynasty, with profound cultural background. With Laojun Mountain, Longmen Grottoes and other scenic spots gradually becoming the punch-in spots among network celebrities, Luoyang has gradually become a tourist destination that more people will choose.

Recommended tour route: Xishan Grottoes → Dongshan Grottoes → Xiangshan Temple → Baiyuan Garden.

This route is officially recommended for sightseeing, and it is very reasonable. The Xishan Grottoes must be carefully inspected, and other sites can do what they can and simply observe them. You don't need to rent an interpreter, and you don't need to hire an interpreter. The introduction next to the Buddha statue is complete, so you can fully understand the important information.

1, Xishan Grottoes Xishan Grottoes are the most essential part of the scenic spot, and the Buddhist Grottoes are the best preserved. Grottoes, large and small, are distributed on the stone walls of the river bank.

Walking along the stream of people, you can see some of the most popular Buddha statues and caves. For example, the scissorhands Buddha statue and face of Binyang North Cave have been weathered and damaged, but the two fingers erected have added a touch of playfulness.

Go ahead and you will find the Ten Thousand Buddha Cave engraved with 15,000 small buddhas. There are many Buddha statues carved in the cave, surrounding the Buddha statues, which makes people lament the superb skills of the craftsmen of that year.

Further on, you will see the lotus cave carved with lotus flowers at the top, and there is a kind of simplicity in the exquisiteness of lotus flowers carved on the stone.

Then, I saw the giant Buddha of Rushana. I was in a state of anxiety until I saw the giant Buddha. Because there are too many tourists on May Day, the riverside walkways are crowded with people, and even they were once blocked on the climbing wooden ladder. And the catkins blowing in the wind make me cough.

But when I climbed the stairs and saw the giant Buddha in Lushena, all my complaints vanished.

Lushena Buddha is one of the incarnations of Sakyamuni, and the word "Lushena" means wisdom and light. The facial features and demeanor of the Buddha are said to come from the ambitious Empress Wu Zetian, who donated 20,000 yuan to complete this group of cliff carvings, which is the essence of the whole scenic spot.

The Buddha, with his eyes drooping, sat quietly in front of the cliff with a serene attitude of seeing through everything in the world. Although the bottom is broken, it adds a little calmness and mystery. On both sides stood two disciples of the Buddha, two bodhisattvas, two heavenly kings and two arhats, with different expressions, which made people imagine.

Overlooking by the Buddhas, the whole person is in extreme shock and has a very small feeling. The live experience is really much more shocking than photos and videos.

After seeing Xishan Grottoes along the river bank, you can cross the bridge to Leigutai, where you can see the panoramic view of Xishan Grottoes on the other side, and you can also see the panoramic view of Lushena Buddha and Grottoes on the cliff, which is very suitable for punching in and taking pictures.

2. Dongshan Grottoes The number of Dongshan Grottoes is small and the preservation conditions are not as good as those of Xishan Grottoes. Kanjing Temple, the largest Buddha cave in Dongshan, can feel the grandeur of lux in a few lines, although the stone carvings at the entrance are seriously weathered.

The stone stairs climbed here are steeper than those in Xishan Grottoes, so it is not suitable for the elderly and children to climb. If you don't wear comfortable flat shoes, I suggest you be careful.

There is an observation deck next to it, which is very suitable for blowing wind and taking photos, and you can have a panoramic view of the Xishan Grottoes.

3, Xiangshan Temple Xiangshan Temple can be carefully visited, but you need to climb the mountain, remember to maintain a certain physical strength in the previous trip.

Xiangshan Temple has a history of 1400 years. Empress Wu Zetian and the great poet Bai Juyi have a special liking for it. Bai Juyi calls himself "Xiangshan Buddhist", in which Xiangshan refers to this place.

Xiangshan, which is backed by Xiangshan Temple, is named after the fragrant kudzu root, and you can smell a refreshing fragrance everywhere. In addition, there are not many tourists in the temple, which is quite quiet and suitable for sitting still.

After the fifth restoration of Xiangshan Temple, there are new and old buildings, flying pavilions and lingyun, which are spectacular. Temples, temples, drum towers, etc. They all have a strong flavor of the Tang Dynasty. You can look up at the eaves for a while. The colors and patterns are really beautiful.

If you want to take pictures, it is recommended to stand on the stairs and take pictures through the wall, so that you can take pictures of yourself as a tourist.

There is also a small villa next to the temple, a two-story building in the Republic of China, where Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Ching Ling used to spend the summer. 1936 10 Chiang Kai-shek, in the name of celebrating his 50th birthday, discussed important issues against * * * * with senior generals here, but he didn't expect the Xi 'an Incident to happen soon.

4. White Garden is out of Xiangshan Temple, so you can go to see the white garden next to it. Baiyuan Garden is located on the Pipa Peak in Dongshan, Longmen. Bai Juyi liked to live here before his death and was buried here after his death.

White Garden is adjacent to Xiangshan Temple, and a new garden is built on the basis of Bai Juyi's tomb, with beautiful scenery backed by mountains and rivers. On the whole, it is divided into four parts: Guqing District, Tomb District, Poetry Gallery District and Management District. You can look at the beautiful mountain gardens and relive Bai Juyi's poems. You can go around again if you have the energy.

In addition to regular tours, Longmen Grottoes also launched a night tour service last year. As night falls, the golden light outlines the outline of the cave, and thousands of Buddha statues seem to be in the Milky Way, which is a bit more mysterious than during the day. Any shot is a high-end blockbuster.

Friends who want to experience the night view of Longmen Grottoes can enter the park around 4 or 5 pm, and then they can enjoy the beautiful scenery when night falls.

Provide you with a night tour photo route as a reference:

Northwest Gate → Xishan Grottoes (you can take a good close-up view after 18:00) → Xishan Exit → Shuiman Bridge → Ritual Buddha Platform (you can take a panoramic view of the Grottoes and the Great Buddha of Lushena) → Scenic Area Exit.

To sum up, Longmen Grottoes, as an important cultural heritage and old scenic spot in Luoyang, are relatively reliable, and those that have never been there are worth visiting.
