1. Xinglong Observatory Base of the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences

Xinglong Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is located in the hinterland of Yanshan Mountain in Xinglong, Hebei Province, and belongs to the Optical Open Laboratory of the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is the optical astronomical observation base of stars and galaxies of the National Astronomical Observatory, and is equipped with important astronomical instruments such as large-area multi-target optical fiber spectrum astronomical telescope and 2.16m optical telescope.

2. Jiulongtan Natural Scenic Area

Jiulongtan Natural Scenic Area is located 13km south of Xinglong County, at the junction of Beijing, Tianjin, Tang and Chengdu, 15km from Beijing and 13km from Chengde. The scenic spot is divided into Yiqi, Three Gorges, Jiutan, eight major landscapes and more than 5 scenic spots.

3. Xinglong Cave

Xinglong Cave is located in Taojiatai Village, Beishuiquan Township, Xinglong County, 6 kilometers away from the county seat. 4. Liuliping National Forest Park

Liuliping National Forest Park is located in Xinglong County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, 13 kilometers southeast of the county seat, at the junction of Beijing, Tianjin, Tang, Cheng and Lang, 13 kilometers from Beijing, 15 kilometers from Tianjin, 13 kilometers from Tangshan, 16 kilometers from Langfang and 145 kilometers from chengde mountain resort. The total area of the park is 22.5 square kilometers, the forest coverage rate is 84%, and the highest main peak is 1442 meters.

5. Wuling Mountain Scenic Area

Wuling Mountain is located between Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan and Chengde, with a total area of 14,246.9 hectares. Wuling Mountain is the main peak of Yanshan Mountain, with an altitude of 2,118 meters, and belongs to the humid continental monsoon climate in warm temperate zone, with an average annual temperature of 7.6℃ and the highest temperature of 28℃ in summer, abundant rainfall, cool climate and rich species.
