You Jin:

You Jin, whose original name is Tan Youjin. Born in Malaysia and raised in Singapore. Graduated from the Chinese Department of Nanyang University with an honorary bachelor's degree. He first worked at the National Library, then worked as a reporter and supplement editor at Nanyang Siang Pau, and now teaches at a junior college.

You Jin loves traveling and has traveled to more than 80 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe, the United States, Australia and the Arctic Circle.

You Jin loves writing and has published more than 135 books so far, including novels, essays, sketches, travel notes, and reportage. Among them, 62 were published in Singapore, and 73 were published in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places.

Eugene:

A city in southwestern Oregon, USA. On the upper Willamette River, 100 kilometers south of Salem. Population 102,000 (1984). Colonization began in 1846. There is agriculture and animal husbandry mainly for dairy livestock around the urban area, and there are abundant state-owned forests. Wood processing and dairy manufacturing are the main industrial sectors. Timber export center. There is the University of Oregon (established in 1872).
