Dasiyan is a tourist attraction that perfectly combines Buddhist culture and beautiful landscapes.

Daciyan is located 24 kilometers south of Jiande City. It is a tourist attraction that perfectly combines Buddhist culture and beautiful scenery. Known as the "Little Jiuhua Scenic Spot in Western Zhejiang", it is famous for "Jiangnan Xuankong Temple, Changgu Stream, and the No. 1 Natural Buddha in China" and is one of the "Excellent Scenic Spots in Zhejiang Province".

Introduction to Daciyan Attractions

Daciyan is located 24 kilometers south of Jiande City. There is a shining golden double-faced Buddha statue on the mountain. Half of the temple building halfway up the mountain is embedded in the rock belly, with scaffolding hanging on one side. It is similar to Hengshan Xuankong Temple, so it is also called "Jiangnan Xuankong Temple".

There is a word "hang" everywhere in the scenic spot. Plank roads, temples, and Buddha statues are all built on steep cliffs. Although most of them have been reconstructed, people can't help but marvel at the creativity of the ancients.

Tour route

The tourist route in the scenic area is roughly circular. When visiting Daci Rock, it is recommended to take the cableway up the mountain first (maximum 50 yuan, minimum 40 yuan), and then walk down the mountain counterclockwise to save time and effort. After going up and down the mountain, there is still a mountain road to walk. Some places are not covered and will be sunny in summer. The greatest pleasure during the entire tour is to walk along the winding plank road on the cliff, admiring the trails, temples, Buddha statues embedded in the mountains, as well as the green mountains and small towns at the foot of the mountains in the distance. The scene is spectacular.

Suspended plank road

On the top of the mountain far away, you can see the shining golden double-sided Buddha statue. After getting off the ropeway, you can walk a short mountain road to reach the suspended plank road. The plank road is the best place to have a panoramic view of the main buildings of Daciyan. Don't miss it. When you walk along the plank road, don't forget to take a close-up photo of the plank road, which is like the cornice pavilion attached to the mountainside. It can also be regarded as the iconic landscape of Daciyan. Walking a little further, the largest natural standing Buddha in the country is another feature here: from the side, the main peak of Daci Rock resembles a standing statue of Tibetan Bodhisattva. Strange rocks, rocks, vegetation, and trees harmoniously combine to form the five senses of the Buddha. Tourists will stop here without exception to watch.

Inside the temple

After walking for about 20 minutes, you will reach the scenery on the opposite side. The Double-Faced Buddha and Ksitigarbha Hall are the biggest highlights. Visitors can walk along the plank road to the Double-faced Buddha to take a look, or they can go to the Ksitigarbha Hall to worship the Buddha and pray for blessings. Under the cherry blossom tree behind Tianmen, the branches are covered with red ribbons for people to pray for, revealing the tranquil temperament of Buddhism. The statues in Rohtang are also quite tense.

After visiting Ksitigarbha Hall, leave the temple. There is a trail going down the mountain on the right (about 30 minutes). The trail is very hidden, so if you can't find it, you can ask the staff. The scenery on the way down the mountain is also good, with streams accompanying it. In October, the scenery of Ginkgo Yellowstone is even more charming. If you want to go down the mountain via the ropeway, you need to return to the ropeway before entering the station.

In addition, Xinye Ancient Village, the location of "Where Are We Going, Dad" in 2014, is not far from Daciyan, so you can play together. It feels good to see old houses, visit ancient villages, and experience recreational activities with celebrities of the same type.
