Xiangshawan is located in the Golden Triangle of Shaanxi, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia, at the easternmost tip of the famous Kubuqi Desert in China. The scenic spot covers an area of 24 square kilometers and is located in the center of the "Golden Triangle" development zone in Hohhot, Baotou and Ordos. It is called "the golden button on the yellow river golden belt".

The origin of the name

Xiangshawan is called "Bremangha" in Mongolian, which means "horned sand dune". The sand dunes here are endless, and what is even more amazing is that the sand here can sing.

Experience the famous sand rafts here. You will slide down from the top of the high sand dunes, and you will hear strange sounds coming from the surrounding sand dunes. From the croak of frogs to the roar of airplanes and cars, it sounds like thunder, hence the name Xiangshawan.
