Note: On July 30, 2017, when my husband and I were traveling to Daocheng Yading, we walked 5 kilometers from Luorong Niu Farm (4180 meters above sea level) to Milk Sea (4600 meters above sea level), and then continued on. 500 meters to reach the Five Color Sea (elevation 4700 meters), and then hike back to Luorong Niu Farm. In order to appreciate the beautiful scenery along the road from Luorong Niu Farm to Chonggu Temple (3,900 meters above sea level), we did not take a battery car, but walked or jogged (a distance of 6 kilometers) to Chonggu Temple to take the last sightseeing bus there. Accommodation in Yading Village (elevation 3700-3900 meters). That night, I slept soundly for ten hours and missed stargazing, while my wife suffered from mild altitude sickness and insomnia.

During the National Day in 2017, my husband and I traveled to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau by car. At altitudes above 4,000 meters and even around 5,000 meters above sea level, we both paid attention to controlling the amount of exercise. As a result, we stayed at altitudes for three consecutive days. There is no altitude sickness at places 4,200 meters or above.
