Shanghai, wuzheng, you Zuowen
On May 4th, my father and mother took my grandfather, grandma and I to Shanghai, the big city I have longed for. On the morning of the 5th, my father and mother took my grandpa and grandma to the subway station. We each took two coins and put them into the cash register, and the ticket popped out of the cash register. Because I have never taken the subway before, I felt strange and very curious, so I followed my mother into the subway entrance. When we came to the subway door that was parked next to the platform, the subway door opened all of a sudden. It was completely automatic. My mother said that it was just like the doors in some banks. When we walked in, the door opened. The door closed automatically! Because there were many people during the May Day holiday, we could only stand. The announcer on the subway announced the names of the stations one by one. The subway was very fast. After a while, we arrived at the Huangpu River Station. This was when the announcer announced the next station. The next stop was People’s Square, then the Oriental Pearl Tower, so we got off the subway at this stop.
We came to the Oriental Pearl Tower. There were many people here. We lined up in a long line, waiting to board the Oriental Pearl Tower. After about ten minutes, we finally bought the tickets and boarded the elevator to the Oriental Pearl Tower. The elevator was really fast. Very quickly, I arrived at the 53rd floor. I looked at the night view outside with my binoculars. The night in Shanghai is really beautiful. There are very beautiful neon lights everywhere, and high-rise buildings can be seen everywhere! Shanghai is also very lively at night. People and cars are coming and going on the streets. It’s so lively and has the look of a big city! We walked around the Oriental Pearl Tower before reluctantly taking the high-speed elevator down! The liveliness and prosperity of Shanghai moved me. I really like Shanghai, a big city. Our Changsha is not as prosperous as Shanghai at present. I think our Changsha will become as developed and prosperous in a short time. Because we will study hard and make our hometown more prosperous!
