Introduction to Shandong Tourism Vocational College

Shandong Tourism Vocational College was founded in 1988. The school was formerly known as Shandong Provincial Tourism School and was affiliated to the Shandong Provincial Tourism Bureau. It was jointly invested and constructed by the National Tourism Administration and the Shandong Provincial People's Government in 1988. It officially opened enrollment in 1991. In July 2004, with the approval of the Shandong Provincial Government, it was transformed into a full-time general higher education institution at the junior college level. The college implements the dual leadership of the Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Tourism Bureau, with the Provincial Tourism Bureau as the main management system. In October 2005, the college moved to the new campus in Zhangqiu University Town, which covers an area of ??1,000 acres. There are currently more than 6,800 full-time students.
