Jiangxi Vocational College of Tourism and Business is a public full-time general college of tourism and business approved by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government in 2002. Established by the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. It is a demonstration vocational college in Jiangxi Province, a high-level vocational college in Jiangxi Province, a ministerial-level demonstration vocational college of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, and the first batch of applied technology undergraduate talents training colleges in Jiangxi Province.

Its predecessor was Jiangxi Commercial School (founded in 1964), Jiangxi Tourism School (founded in 1987) and Jiangxi Nuclear Industry Technical School (founded in 1964).
