1. Zhang Fei Temple
Zhang Fei Temple, also known as Zhang Huanhou Temple, is located at the foot of Feifeng Mountain on the south bank of the Yangtze River. 5. Three Gorges Cultural Relics Park
The Three Gorges Cultural Relics Park is located in Mopanzhai, New County, Yunyang, Chongqing. Three Gorges Reservoir Area Cultural Relics Protection Demonstration Project. The replication and relocation work was launched in November 2001. According to the principle of relocation to different places and reconstruction as it is, the original Wenchang Palace, Emperor's Palace, Dongyue Temple, Shaanxi Arrow Tower, Reform School, Yunyang South Gate, and Eleven cultural relics, including Xiahuang's Jiexiao Archway, Changtan Stone Tablet Pavilion, Liugang Stone Inscriptions, Niuwei Stone Petroglyphs, and Dragon's Back Stone Inscriptions, were all moved to the park. At the same time, more than 1,000 pieces of underground cultural relics at all levels unearthed by underground archeology are preserved in the park. These cultural relics show the development of civilization in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
Before reconstruction, the eleven cultural relics scenic spots in the Three Gorges Cultural Relics Park were all located below the water level of 175 meters above sea level. Because of their important historical value, they were unanimously planned by the National Construction Commission and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage as protection projects for off-site relocation and replication. The relocation project started in December 2000 and was completed by the end of 2008. In 2009, the greening project and thematic exhibition projects were gradually improved, and it was officially opened to the public on October 1, 2009.
