Introduction to Millennium Park in Chicago
Chicago Millennium Park is a large park located in the Loop District of Chicago, USA. Its English name is Millennium Park. The park is an important cultural and entertainment center on the shores of Lake Michigan, covering the entire northwest side of Grant Park, 24.5 acres (99,148 square meters) of land. The area was once used as a parking lot by the Illinois Central Railroad. As of 2009, Millennium Park is the second most popular tourist attraction in Chicago, second only to Navy Pier.
