Pleasant Travel 500-word Composition of Yuntai Mountain in Henan Province

In the third summer vacation, my mother took me to Yuntai Mountain Geopark, which is famous in China. It is located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, and belongs to Taihang Mountain area. It has both the beauty of the mountains in the south and the majesty of the mountains in the north. This is a strange and unique landscape.

On the first day, we came to Tanzhe Gorge, also known as Xiaozhaigou. The scenery in the valley is pleasant, just like Jiangnan. "Three steps and one spring, five steps and one waterfall, ten steps and one pool" makes people linger.

For the first time, we saw the waterfall in the shape of "Ya". A large triangular stone divides the water flow and then merges it into one, forming a waterfall in the shape of "Ya". I stepped into the water in sandals, where the water was crystal clear, cold and refreshing, sweeping away the summer heat. After a short walk, we came to the "fountain of youth". It is said that one sip of water from the fountain of youth is ten years younger, two sips are immortal, and three sips are rejuvenating. I took a bottle of spring water and took it back to my grandparents to drink. I hope they live a long and healthy life. Walking on, I was attracted by the sound of water, and we came to water curtain cave. The water curtain is like a string of pearls, which reminds me of Guo Hua water curtain cave in The Journey to the West. Finally, we came to the edge of the butterfly stone. Two rocks spread their wings like giant butterfly wings, and people stood in the middle and became beautiful butterfly fairies.

The next day, we visited Hongshixia Scenic Area. Locals call it "Wen Panyu", while outsiders call it "concentrated nature" and "bonsai canyon". The water there is green and clear, and the red stone walls on both sides are dotted with green trees, as if it were a huge bonsai carved with uncanny workmanship. Tourists come here in an endless stream, crowded with mountain roads, and sometimes every step is very difficult.

After two days of travelling through mountains and rivers, although I was exhausted, I still feasted my eyes and learned some geological knowledge. I benefited a lot from this trip.
