Chongyi Town is located in the west of Chengdu Plain, a national scenic spot and the east gate of Dujiangyan City, an excellent tourist city in China. It is 25 kilometers east of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, and 12 kilometers west of Dujiangyan City. It is bordered by Tangchang Town and Zhuwa Township in Pixian County in the east, huayuan town in Pixian County in the south, Cuiyuehu Town and Shiyang Town in Dujiangyan City in the west and Tianma Town in Dujiangyan City in the north. The town covers an area of 46.8 square kilometers and has a population of more than 44,000. It governs a community in Chongde and 184 villages in Chongyi, Jiang 'an, Da Qiao, Xinhua, jiepai, Haiyun, Guiqiao, Guqiao, Luo Qiao, Sheng 'an, Shuang Tu, Baqiao and Wu Tang.

Except for several shallow hills in the northeast of the town, the whole town is the Minjiang River impact plain, with an average elevation of 648 meters, slightly higher in the northwest than in the southeast. The soil in the territory is oily black soil, with high fertility, neutral and alkaline, containing mild carbonate, loose and breathable structure, suitable for planting rice, wheat, rape and corn. The town's cultivated land area is 33,902 mu. Culture, education and health facilities in the town are basically complete. There are three schools, Chongyi Middle School, Chongyi Primary School and Tuqiao School, and 10 kindergarten. There are two hospitals, Dujiangyan Psychiatric Hospital and Tuqiao Health Center, and 14 village-level health stations.

Chongyi Town is rich in historical and cultural heritage. The Qin and Han dynasties began to take shape, and after the Tang and Song Dynasties, the name of worshipping righteousness began in the seventeenth year of the Ming Dynasty. Because it is located at the crossroads, close to Chengdu, up to Xuankou and Songfan, it has become a famous Xidao Post Station. Today's antique West Road Station reminds people of the prosperity of the West Sichuan Station. There are Yan Junping, a master of Confucian classics in the Western Han Dynasty, Bishop Lodovico Maria, a master of Chinese studies, Zhang Jiexian, a martyr who protected the railway, Guan Xingwen, a famous water conservancy expert and other historical celebrities. There is a Buddhist temple, Tuanlin Temple, which was built during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. The official garden, built in Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty, is called "Shangshu Mansion", which reproduces the quaint charm of the houses in western Sichuan.

National Highway 3 17, Chengdu-Dongguan Expressway, Chengdu Shaxi Extension Line, Guanwen Road and Chengdu IT Avenue Extension Line, as well as Chongtang Road, Chongtu Road, Pengqing Line, Juqing Line, and Dujiangyan overpass of Chengdu-Dongguan Expressway, as the main transportation hubs, connect the surrounding roads together, forming a "five vertical and one horizontal" advantageous road network. The installed capacity of hydropower in China is 20,000 kilowatts. At present, there are 35,000 KVA-scale substations, 35,000 KVA Shuangyu substations, 10KV switching station 1 substation, 2,000 tons of daily water plants, bidirectional power supply between local network and national network, and all kinds of communication telephones directly dial the whole country and all over the world. There are more than 20 industrial enterprises 120 in the town, including 7 industrial enterprises above designated size. In the town, the automobile supporting industries focusing on Fu Ying, Chuangqi and Du Jiang, the precision casting and pipe industry focusing on Xing Hang and Daxing, the door industry leading by Duchong, Xinwei and Shiwei, and the four characteristic industrial clusters focusing on western Sichuan and kuya have begun to take shape. Paying attention to the integration of door industry resources has formed a local characteristic industry and is known as the "hometown of steel doors and windows". In 2007, Dujiangyan Steel Doors and Windows Association was established in our town. Based on the association, Dujiangyan Tianxia Door Industry Co., Ltd. was established by 1 1 door industry enterprises, and signed an investment cooperation agreement with Chuansu Industrial Park, which took the lead in realizing the integration and standardization of local characteristic industries in the city and settled in the industrial concentrated development zone.
