?Cihe River, known as Xishui in ancient times, is also known as Heici River. It originates from near the Wanggong Mansion in Taikang County, Henan Province, starts from Zhangpangdian on the provincial boundary, flows southeast, passes through Taihe Qingqian, Lixing, and Niqiu, then passes through the original wall gate, and basically flows southward, passing through Guanji Youna Valley River. It flows into Cihuai New River from Cihepu. The total length of the river is 185 kilometers, of which 85 kilometers are in Anhui Province and the drainage area is 1,256 square kilometers.

Yuanqiang Town in the Cihewan Wetland Park area has a long history and rich cultural heritage. The ancient and young towns add colorful charm to the natural Cihe Bay and provide rich cultural resources for the creation of a provincial wetland park.
Based on the principle of “priority in protection, scientific restoration, moderate development, and rational utilization”, Cihewan Provincial Wetland Park is divided into five functional areas based on resource characteristics and distribution. The ecological conservation area is located in the central area of ??Cihewan Wetland Park, covering an area of ??125.04 hectares, accounting for 28.84% of the total area of ??the park. This area is the most important area of ??the park, focusing on the restoration, display and monitoring of wetland ecosystems, and protecting the integrity and biodiversity of wetland ecosystems.
