Yunnan Vocational College of Culture and Art was founded in 1956, which is located at the foot of the scenic Xishan Mountain in Kunming and beside Dianchi Lake. It is the first provincial-level public vocational college in Yunnan Province, which has experienced many historical periods such as Yunnan Culture and Art Cadre School, Yunnan Opera School, Yunnan Literature and Art School and yunnan art School.
