Introduction of Shanghai Youbinjiang Avenue
Binjiang Avenue 1997 completed, with a total length of 2500m. From Taitung Road on the Huangpu River to Dongchang Road, it faces Puxi Bund across the river. It is a landscape project along the river integrating sightseeing, greening, transportation and service facilities. It consists of hydrophilic platform, slope greening, semi-underground compartment and landscape road. By the riverside, there are hundreds of disputes between the two sides of Pudong, and the dynamic and static combination of the Bund Expo Complex gives people infinite reverie, a kind of artistic conception of picking up scenery while walking. It is like a ribbon fluttering on the east bank of Huangpu River, and is known as the new Bund in Pudong.
Brief introduction of binjiang avenue
Binjiang Avenue is located in Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, along the east bank of Pujiang, starting from Taitong Station Pier in the north and reaching Dongchang Road Pier in the south, with a total length of about 2,500 meters. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Shanghai, and it is also a place for Shanghainese to rest in their leisure time, because they can overlook the Expo complex and Puxi scenery on the other side of the Bund.
Compared with the Bund
Compared with the crowd on the Bund, Binjiang Avenue is relatively quiet. Many local citizens will run and walk their dogs here in the morning, and from time to time there will be young people riding skateboards and bicycles. There are many restaurants and coffee shops by the river. When you are tired, you can sit down and order a cup of coffee, see the scenery on the other side and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. Of course, you can also look around the fence, see the ships coming and going on the Huangpu River and take some photos. Leisure time is pleasant. At night, the lights are brightly lit, the two sides are brightly lit, and the coast is endless. Every building is crystal clear and colorful, and the whistle of ships in the river echoes in the ear and can be seen from a distance.
A striking building
Binjiang Avenue is mainly divided into three sections. The southern section (Du Fu section) is the fusion of modern architectural art and fountain square. There is a stone tablet at the entrance, engraved with the four striking words "Binjiang Avenue". This is the former site of Shanghai Lixin Shipyard Wharf, which has a history of more than 70 years and has been converted into a sightseeing wharf. Therefore, chain railings and giant iron anchors are specially set up in the design. Walking along South Street, you can see Aurora International Building, Shangri-La Hotel Pudong and Citigroup Building along the way.
Binjiang Avenue in front of Zheng Da Square is the busiest section. It is not only the location of many restaurants, such as Bollina, Tianshui Love Italian Restaurant, Xu Liushan, Starbucks and Haagen-Dazs, but also the best place overlooking the buildings on the other side of Puxi. The famous Bank of China Building, Peace Hotel, Customs Building and HSBC Building are clearly visible, reappearing the former "Far East Wall Street". Shanghai locals and tourists will stop here to take pictures. In addition, in the southern section, there is a fully transparent sightseeing hall and a happy square where cultural performances are held. There are also cultural performances here on holidays.
A good place to shoot and watch.
The middle section of Binjiang Avenue (Oriental Pearl Section) adopts layered three-dimensional design. Walking on this lush and full of green avenue, facing the calm water of Pujiang, with its back against the Oriental Pearl and overlooking the romantic ancient buildings on the Bund, people are suddenly enlightened and relaxed. There are also many fountains, water curtain walls, open-air music squares and other facilities, which are also places where many newcomers take wedding photos.
In addition, there is a large lawn in the northern section of Binjiang Avenue, which makes people feel suddenly enlightened and relaxed. The green grass on the slope on the side of the hydrophilic platform is inlaid with flowers and shrubs, creating a comfortable and quiet environment far from the metropolis for people. There is also the Century Peace Bell here, and you can also take photos as a souvenir.
