1. Wuxiakou Scenic Area

Located in Badong County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Wuxiakou Scenic Area is famous for its spectacular peaks and rocks, clear water and ancient Wushan culture.

2. Shennongxi Scenic Area

Shennongxi is a national tourist scenic spot, located between Xiling Gorge and Wuxia Gorge of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. It is a constant stream on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Badong County, Hubei Province. It is named after its origin in the southern slope of Shennongjia, a virgin forest, with a total length of 6 kilometers and a relative drop of more than 2,9 meters. It has received 17 streams along the way.

Lianzixi is located on the south bank of Wuxiakou of the Yangtze River. It is named after the ancient plank road of giant chain trackers on Lianziya for more than 4 years. Baren River Tourist Attraction is located in Group 11, Zhushatu Village, Chadianzi Town, Badong County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province. It is a magical river valley on the 3-degree north latitude, and is called "the masculine mountain of men and the gentle river of women".

Hubei Badong Golden Monkey National Nature Reserve is located in the northern part of Badong County, Hubei Province, on the eastern edge of Daba Mountain, in the transition area from high mountains in the west to low mountains in the east of China, bordering Shennongjia Forest Area in the north, Xingshan County in the east, Wushan County in Chongqing in the west, and the national 5A Shennongxi tourist attraction in the south.

The project dam is a concrete face rockfill dam, with a maximum height of 233 meters, making it the highest face rockfill dam in the world.

It is the first tributary of the Yangtze River after leaving Wuxia Gorge and entering Xiangxi Wide Valley.
